I got offended because you said Mahabharat was not a religious book. I do agree it has a lot more politics than any other purana, but it is still a religious book. Gita alone is not a scripture in itself. It's a part of the Mahabharat written by Veda Vyasa, and the same Krishna who presided over the Gita was the main force that drove the Mahabharat also. We cannot ignore the religious component of Mahabharat and simply call it a political book.
I think its useless to argue...but i stand by what i said.
