The show concept and viewer expectations were always at a conflict. Add to that were all the nuances that went on. Time slot, scripts, ML and so on.
Whatever the reasons at the end of the day it's all about numbers and business. I also have a feeling that the show was never supposed to go on for a long time...a year at the most.
For me this was a good move by Sanaya. She wanted to get back to work but breakaway from the mold of her last shows, be on the screen, try something light, refreshing and different. It gave her breathing room, she had a show and the freedom to take part in other things. Good strategy by her.
Chhanchhan the character was well delivered by Sanaya and it has added a "maturity" for a future role.
