Anyway this is all wisdom in hindsight , what had to happen has happened ...not lets just look ahead.

@ bold - Sony the PH should be doing this brain storming and here we are..😆

Yeah the timing was all wrong.. Even if they had just copied khoobsurat outright as initially mentioned it would ve been better..

The show concept and viewer expectations were always at a conflict. Add to that were all the nuances that went on. Time slot, scripts, ML and so on.
Whatever the reasons at the end of the day it's all about numbers and business. I also have a feeling that the show was never supposed to go on for a long time...a year at the most.

For me this was a good move by Sanaya. She wanted to get back to work but breakaway from the mold of her last shows, be on the screen, try something light, refreshing and different. It gave her breathing room, she had a show and the freedom to take part in other things. Good strategy by her.
Chhanchhan the character was well delivered by Sanaya and it has added a "maturity" for a future role.

True, they seem to be badly prepared for the new show too, which has to face competition from Big Boss and DABH.

@bold That's a good point...Sanaya has got good press for her portrayal of Chhanchhan and holding her own in front of actor like Supriyaji. She has also shed the bubbly image playing the calm and mature Chhanchhan.
