SAIFTA awards are South Africa India Film and Television Awards. Here is what SAIFTA is from their official webpage " SAIFTA is a celebration of cultures and talent from India and South Africa with primary aim to recognise, honour and promote creativity, talent and excellence in both the film and television industries in India and South Africa.
SAIFTA is the first of its kind awards ceremony bringing Bollywood to Durban to felicitate talent from both countries in the sphere of cinema and television".

It is a week long ceremony where prominent bollywood actors as well as television actors are invited. Awards categories include bolly wood movies, South African movies, Indian Television shows as well as South African Television shows.
