There are a lot of new members on the forum now, which is a good sign and many of you are quickly moving up the ladder groups. Congratulations to everyone who is reaching a milestone.



However, every member opening a new thread to celebrate this occasion is not really appropriate. Look at the page 1 of the forum. There are 2 celebration threads, a poem thread...where does that leave CID related threads? The general discussion thread was originally created for such celebrations.


A birthday thread for a member may be opened, but not celebration threads. I hope you all will take this in the right spirit and stick to the general discussion thread for celebrations in terms of ladder groups or success in exams or anything you wish.


Please avoid opening one poem thread by each person where the poems are not related to CID. If you have your own creations thread where there is stuff related to CID, post it there...or on the general poems thread open to all.

I could have opened a new thread to post this messaage, but again...didn't want to open another announcement thread. 😛

I understand...viewbie also has issues coming online thru comp these days. It's tough to post long announcements thru phone, hence once in a while I tell others to do.

a silent viewbie helps bringing more members to the forum. So many members celebrating ladder group milestones proves it.
