All over the forum I've been defending Jalal left right and centre...and as for defending Jodha our lovely Super Kool has done the same...however, one point I picked from your BEAUTIFUL write up - so I'm defending the Amer-waasis now...😆
Yes.. they didn't seem too keen to break off the rishtha...but why should they...they didn't witness the atrocities being reported...Jalal was the one who told them about it...and how would they know if he was telling them the truth or exaggerating it...

Besides, even if a few crimes were going on in Sujanpur, we don't know that Bhavani/Ratan were really THAT bad...(does everyone assume that crimes were not going on in Amer...was there no pillaging/plundering going on in the Mughal Sultanat)
Plus, we've never seen the other side of the story..maybe this Bhavani/Ratan were trying to oust the dakoos but were unsuccessful...(waise dekhaa jaaye tho even Bharmal doesn't appear like a very capable ruler - kind, yes...capable ermmm not sure)
And 17 rishtaas have gone down the drain for Sukanya...I would imagine in the 16th century that getting one's daughter married off took precedence over anything else...
That's why I understand why the Amerwasis are not too keen about breaking off alliance despite what Jalal had to say...

And I don't see now how Sukanya' will get married to Ratan Singh. Yes it might just be a favour that Jalal is meting out to them but now who else will she marry? 17 grooms have tossed aside the idea of marriage into Amer because of Jodha's marriage to the Mughal Emperor, Jalal.
Now who else will she marry?? Unless Jalal wants to get married to her too,get both the sisters into his Haram. In that case, Jodha will be standing with Jalal's shamsheer wanting to cut his head off before the marriage 😆

well whtever maybe the reason, jalal is doing the right thing. even if the MC track was not there, still jalal have to go to the war. if sujanpur is really giving shelter to the dacoits, then ratan singh is not the right guy for sukanya. yes if the alliance breaks jodha will be furious on jalal, but later this could be one of the reasons for jodha to forgive jalal.

Jalaal is in the throes of a twisted feeling of schadenfreude right now! He is in his private hell and is hell-bent on burning and destroying everything in his path and bringing those he thinks responsible to hell with him. But he is weaving a tangled web in his rage and it has to be seen how he will extricate himself out when he finds out about the Rajputs' innocence.
I did not understand two things in today's episode!
First of all, in the scene where MA is hunting for clues in the harem, she seems to be extremely disrespectful to Jalaal's wives who are essentially queens. I might be mistaken and they are not his begums but if they are, shouldn't she be more respectful?
Secondly, the whole scene in the end with Bharmal and his sons didn't make sense to me. Jalaal definitively tells them he is going to wage war against Sujaanpur. This means either Ratan will be killed or captured because obviously they don't stand a chance against the might of the Mughals. So why was Bharmal Singh obsessing over Sukanya's rishta being cancelled if he joins hands with Jalaal? Even if he doesn't, there is still going to be a war and the dude is still doomed. Also like you said, in spite of being told about Ratan's exploits, he was still worried about the rishta. I'm confused.

Thanks Hobby.😳...There is no other way out for Jalaal. He has to follow the law of Karma. If he is giving hell, he must go through hell to get back the affection and respect of the Amer gang and his Jodha.

MA gives respect to Ruqqu only because Ruqqu is the chief consort queen and Saleema and Jodha are next to her. Rest of the begums are like just 'begums' and MA , due to her political and emotional influence wields iron.

Oh, forgive the Rajputs. Jalaal is giving them some real tough love and am sure all senses will be back once this opium crap is solved.😆

Qubool hai, qubool hai, qubool hai. Humein aapka defence qubool hai. VALID POINTS...Yes, we should see Ratan's side of the story as well. If he really is a jerk, then, Sukanya does not need a hubby like him.

Thanks. You are right. No matter what sadistic pleasure Jalaal is getting out of waging this war, by political codebook, its an ok decision. Jodha forgiving Jalaal is gonna be some intense fun, i guess. 😆
