KRISHNA & UTTARA:- A Daughter's Grief to Protect
Uttara was still a little girl when the war took away the man she loved. Abhimanyu’s little bride, who had entered his life holding his hand with dreams in her eyes, was now left with nothing but grief—and the unborn child she carried as the last piece of him.
Krishna had watched her suffer, and his heart ached for her. He knew she had already endured more than her tender heart could bear. When Ashwatthama’s weapon turned toward her unborn son, it was no longer just another consequence of the war to Krishna. It was his little girl being asked to lose everything all over again.
His calm disappeared. His heart burned with anger at Ashwatthama for bringing his vengeance upon an innocent mother and her unborn child. He cursed him for the terrible deed and then turned to Uttara with all the tenderness he held for her.
Krishna saved her son.
He could not give Abhimanyu back to her. He could not take away her grief. But he would not let the war take the last piece of Abhimanyu from his little Uttara.
Not simply saving an heir to a dynasty, but saving the little girl who had already lost too much from having to lose one more piece of the person she loved.
