What happened to Dia Mirza?

Dia is gorgeous, can act, and she is well-composed in interviews. She has no movies out...in ages. I thought she could be the next big thing. She is half German from her father's side but can speak fluent Hindi as she grew up in India. She is the perfect combination of beauty and acting.


What is it about her that just didn't click?

Is it her lack of ambition?

Her dancing skills?

Her ethics (maybe she did not want to sleep with producers as many outsiders from the industry has had to do)?

Her attitude? (I've never really read anything about her throwing a tantrum)


It's not like she's married and taking care of her family. What is stopping her from being in movies? What is stopping producers from casting her? They're happily signing Jacqueline Fernandez (horrible actress IMO) yet over-looking Dia.

On another note, another actress who is facing similar situation - Amrita Rao. I actually liked her in Vivah.

I like her, she's a good actress and is gorgeous. No idea why she isn't signed to any movies, same with Kangana, both stunners that an act.

i m not really impressed with her acting. but that is never a criteria for successful bw actress. so luck factor, may be?

When she can earn a bigger amount in few hours by sleeping with money loaded businessmen,.then why would she want to work hard day and night in films??
