Don't you think that now Gunja who's the only one who talks with Lajjo tries to show, to teach her how to dress properly like girls in cities or Lajjo can also wears suits instead of these sarees with her pallu in front(sorry exactly I don't know how to explain it properly.)
Her hair style also should be changed and her sindoor should be thinner...my point of view.

See, the problem is, we as viewers want to see the female lead looking her best. But the characters have more pressing matters to deal with, instead of teaching how to dress, or manners and what-not. They are not even ready to accept her, why would they care about what she wears or doesn't wear? That will come much later, once they sort everything out and decide what to do with Laajo 😊
