Hiten Tejwani signs new film

The TV hunk forays into Tollywood with Agnidev Chatterjee's film

Agnidev Chatterjee has roped in popular TV actor Hiten Tejwani to play the parallel lead alongside Purab Kohli in his first Hindi film, Tere Aane Se. Hiten plays Sanjeev who has a mysterious relationship with Rituparna Sengupta's character.

Says the director, "I can't disclose much about his role as it's a romantic thriller, but Hiten plays the parallel lead. The film opens with Purab and Ritu being shown as a married couple. But as the story progresses, the audience gets to see Hiten as an integral part of Ritu's life " the relationship between them is unclear. Is Hiten Ritu's husband? Did Rituparna marry twice? Then, what happens to her marriage to Purab? This is what the movie revolves around."

But why did he zeroed in on Hiten? The director explains, "I needed somebody who could complement Purab's character " a good-looking guy is what I was looking for. Hiten was perfect for the role. His popularity on the small screen is just another an add-on."
