PART 9

Zoya had started understanding the business with the help of her Salim Bhaijaan and she would discuss it out with Asad as well and clear out if she had any queries.. Due to some legal matters all the financial transactions were blocked in Asad's office and he was occupied with the legal team to sort out things. Salim was also equally behind this in providing the required information.. and it was really a testing time for Asad..He was occupied day and night in trying to get these sorted out...

Zoya understood the heat of the situation since she had not seen both Asad and Salim for the last 2 days...She desperately wanted to help them out in whatever possible way she could but she did not have enough information to understand what was going wrong...

Zoya sent a message on Asad's mobile that she wanted to meet for atleast 10 minutes if it was possible...Asad also wanted to meet her.. so they decided to meet up for lunch in his cabin...As soon as she entered his cabin, she ran towards him and hugged him...

Zoya : Maine apko bahut miss kiya..

Asad : Maine bhi ...

Zoya : Main nahin manti hoon.. Agar apne muje miss kiya tha to apne muje at least phone kiya hota...

Asad : Tum janti ho na Zoya.. hum sab kitne pareshan hain... bus yeh problem sab suljane ke baad.. ek pura din tumhare saath rahoonga..

Zoya : Actually.. main bhi apko help karna chathi hoon.. Agar..aap muje apne is problem ko mujse share karenge ...

Asad : Accha laga.. yeh sunke Zoya ki tum mere har pareshani mein saath dena chathi ho.. and he explains that in AAK Services, due to some technical issue, there had been a huge loss to their client since the production was stopped for couple of hours.. and now the client was demanding a huge penalty and so the legal department was going through the contract and trying to get the things sorted out at the earlierst since the client had got a court order that unless the penalty was paid to them, the financial transactions of AAK Software Services had to be blocked...

Zoya : Accha.. Technically kya problem hua tha.. jiske liye unka production rukgaya tha ??

Asad : Humara company Service provider hain.. unmein se.. " RO Group" ek client hain.. unka Bhopal mein aur doosre teen sheher mein bahut sarein manufacturing companies hain... unhone sab softwares services humare company ko outsource kiyein hain... Maintenance keliye.. teen ghante ka permission milatha ek plant ka.. lekin.. humare engineer ne kaha ki database ka kuch problem hogaya tha.. aur use solve karne mein unhe che ghante laggaye.. isliye unhone.. humpar penalty dala hain...

Zoya : Accha to.. yeh baat hain.. Kya aap muje do ya teen ghante ka waqt doge ?? Muje lagta hain.. ki shayad main kuch madath karsakti hoon...

Asad : Are you sure ??

Zoya : Mujpe yakeen kijiye.. Haan.. lekin muje us engineer se pehle baat karna hain.. aur contract ke sab papers dekhna hain.. uske baad humarein legal team se bhi baat karna chathi hoon...

Asad : Fair enough...

Asad called out for Salim and instructed him to help out Zoya with all the details and also to arrange immediate meetings with concerned engineer ...

After discussing out with the concerned engineer and gathering all the required details from him and also after going through the legal contract between the 2 companies, Zoya had prepared the required details with which she could speak to the legal department and also now she wanted to have a meeting with the client as well...

Asad's Room :

Asad : Zoya.. kya hua.. itni kush kyun lag rahi ho ??

Zoya : Kushi ki hi to baat hain.. Dekhiye.. ab mein kya karti hoon .. us client ko... Kya aap ke saath meeting fix karsakte hain ??

Asad : Pehle muje aur Salim Bhaijaan ko to batao.. baat kya hain ??

Zoya explained that the reason why the maintenance window permission was taken by the engineer was for upgrading the Database. Even though the Database had come up successfully, the application had not come up for couple of hours due to some permission issues..which was finally fixed. The required Software Vendor tickets were available to prove all these technical details. As per the contract, during any such valid technical issues, our company will not be paying out any penalty.. The point which client is trying to prove is that this was a manual error due to which their systems were down .. but we have to fight back and prove that it was indeed a technical issue and not a manual one...

Asad : Zoya.. tum sach mein genius ho.. Main do din se.. penalty amount kum karneke barein mein.. kaise client se deal karna hain.. yeh soch raha tha.. aur humara legal department bhi.. aur tum..

Zoya : Ji...Aur haan.. unke taraf se technical person ko bhi invite kijiye...

The meeting with the client was fixed at 5 PM the same day at the cleint's Head office...

Client's Office..

The conference room at the client's place had Rohan Oberio, MD of RO Group, Akshay Gupta their IT Manager and Lawrence their Legal Manager when Asad and team walked in...Asad introduced himself as MD of AAK Software and Services..

Asad : This is Zoya, my business parther, Salim Khan, my manager, Piyush our IT Manager, and Soumya our legal Manager..

Rohan : Mr. Khan.. muje ab bhi samaj mein yeh nahin aa raha hain.. ki aap penalty pay karnekeliye itna dher kyun laga rahein hain.. aur is meeting ki kya zaroorat hain..aur woh bhi itni kaam samay mein...

Zoya : Mr. Oberio..We are sorry for the short notice... If you could allow us to speak first.. You will get all your answers..

Rohan : Please..

Zoya took over and she explained the technical details to Akshay and also provided all the technical ticket details which was created with the software vendors...

Zoya : So. Mr. Akshay.. Are you convinced that it was indeed a technical issue and not a manual one ?? If not I am ready to answer any of your queries...

Akshay did question back Zoya with couple of things but she was prepared for all the possible questions and finally Akshay had to give up...

Akshay to Rohan : Sir.. She is correct.. Sach mein technical problem tha..

Rohan : Agar technical problem tha.. to itne din se kyun chup the aap ??

Zoya : Excuse me.. Investigate karne mein waqt lagtha hain.. aur haan.. humara company apke company ko shayad pechle paanch saal se service provide kar rahein hain.. lekin apne bina kuch soche hum par itna bada penalty dal diya...??

Rohan : Dekhiye.. mein business dimag se chalatha hoon...dil se nahin.

Zoya : Ofcourse... Kyunki apne bina investigate kiye.. humpar itna bada penalty demand kiya aur humarein company ka financials transactions pechle do din se rok rakha.. isliye we can demand back for a penalty from you.. Do you understand that Mr Rohan Oberio ?? lekin hum aise nahin karenge.. kyunki.. hum sirf dimaag se nahin.. dil se bhi chalathe hain...Now if you could discuss with your legal department and get things sorted out for us ASAP...

The legal representatives of both the companies discussed and finally, it was agreed that the client would take back their stay orders immediately...

Rohan : Lekin.. muje kisike bhi ehsaan nahin chahiye.. batayiyen kya karsakta hoon ??

Zoya : Ek apology letter bhej dijiye humare MD ko...

Rohan : What ??

Zoya : You got that right Mr. Oberio...Thanks for your time...

After thanking each other, Asad and team walked out of RO Group Head office with a smile on each one's face...

Asad's Car :

Soumya : Zoya.. aap sach mein.. sherni ho.. shayad Rohan ke saath kisi ne bhi is tarah aaj tak baat kiya nahin hoga...woh political background se hain.. isliye.. koi unse ulajna nahin chatha hain...

Salim : Zoya.. tum ne ek din mein.. sab kuch teek kardiya beta.. I am proud of you...

Piyush : Haan Zoya..

Zoya : Thanks.. lekin.. I am sorry.. Piyush sir.. jab apko patha tha ki itna bada dhamka hua hain office mein tab apko sab kuch patha laga chahiye tha... Salim Bhaijaan ko technically kuch nahin malum hain.. to apko sab kuch Mr Khan ko kehna chaiye tha...

Piyush : I am sorry Zoya.. I am sorry Sir...

Asad just nodded but he did not tell anything...Zoya understood that Asad was infact happy looking at the smile on his face.. but she thought that may be something was still bothering him...Since it was late evening past office hours, all the others preferred to be dropped near by so that they could take their way...

Salim : Sir..muje bhi office mein kuch kaam hain.. muje bhi yahi pass ke auto stand chod dijiye.. mein chala jaoonga..

Asad : Bhaijaan.. aapko kitni baar kahan hain. .. aap muje Asad kehkar bulasaktein hain.. aap dono ko ghar drop karoonga.. chaliye...isi bahane .. Adya se bhi mulakat hojayegi.. aur babhi ka haat ka khana bhi mil jayega...

Salim had to agree and join them back home.. Zeenat was more than happy to have Asad for dinner... He had infact become a family member now...After dinner and playing for sometime with Adya, Zoya wanted to speak with Asad..

Zoya : Adya.. tum jao beta.. ab sojao.. muje apke dost se kuch baath karni hain.. Asad.. kya hum bahar lawn pe chalein ??

Zoya : Muje malum hain aap kush hain aaj.. lekin ab bhi kuch to pareshani hain.. kya baat hain ?? Was I wrong about anything in today's meeting ??

Asad : Nahin Zoya.. you were excellent.. I am proud of you..

Zoya : to phir.. kya pareshani hain ??

Asad : Patha nahin..Zoya.. shayad mein over possessive ho raha hoon... Jab tum us Rohan se baat kar rahi thi.. tab tumne shayad notice nahin kiya..pehle to woh gusse mein tha.. lekin jab hum sab wahan se chal rahein the.. tab woh bahut hi pyaar se tumhe dekh raha tha...

Zoya started laughing... I am sorry.. is mein pareshani ki kya baat hain.. Trust me..He will be hating me to the core for the loss he need to face.. but looking at the seriousness on Asad's face ...she continued..aur haan.. mera pyaar sirf apke liye hein...I promise.. koi aur hum dono ke beech kabhi nahin aa sakta hain...

Asad got very emotional hearing Zoya's words and he hugged her...

Asad : Kal shaam ko Aslam ka nikaah hain.. allah ka shukrh hain.. yeh sab pareshani aaj hi katham hogaya... shurkiya Zoya.. Kal main office nahin aa raha hoon.. main subah Aslam ke ghar pe hoon.. tum bhi aoogi kya?

Zoya : Nahin.. mein Bhaijaan aur Bhabhi ke saath shaam ko nikaah pe ajayenge...

On the other hand Rohan was impressed with the way Zoya had fought back in the meeting and saving her company from paying out a huge amount.. He also liked the way she had tried to threaten that they could infact demand back a penalty..Rohan aged 30Yrs.. had build the RO Group on his own with the help of his Father who has a political background..but he was single . He like his father was a person who is very practical and also adamant and also achieved whatever he wanted so far in life...

The next morning Rohan tried to check if Asad or Zoya was available in office. He wanted to come over and meet them..He was disappointed to know that Asad was not in office that day and also the telephone helpdesk did not know the details of Zoya and hence they were not able to connect the call.

Aslam's Nikaah Venue...

Asad was with Aslam but his eyes were towards the entrance.. and once in a while he was looking at his watch...

Najma : Bhaijaan.. aap baar baar gadi kyun dekh rahein hain ?? Aap Zoya keliye itna hi pareshan ho rahein hain.. to phone kijiye unhe...

As Asad was about to ring up, he notices Zoya and her family walking in.. Zoya's eyes were also searching for her prince charming as soon as she entered the hall .. She was dressed in red and black lehenga with gold work... She was looking extremely beautiful with very simple jewellery...

Najma : Bhaijaan.. woh dekhiye... atehi Zoya ki ankeh bhi lagta hain apko doond rahi hain...

Asad : Ek kaam karo Najma.. main Aslam ke paas jaake bait jatha hoon.. us pardhe ke peeche.. aur haan.. tum Zoya ko bolna math.. main kahan hoon...

Najma : Bhaijaan.. I can't believe.. ki aap yeh sab kar rahein hain...

As Salim and Zeenath move towards Aslam's family to catch up with the relatives, Zoya along with Adya was searching for Asad...She picked up her phone and called up Asad only to be disconnected..Her facial expressions suddenly went sad .. and it slightly brightened looking at Najma

Zoya : Najma.. shukrh hain.. aap milgayi... Apke Bhaijaan kahan hain ??

Najma was also in the mood to trouble Zoya...: Zoya.. Bhaijaan yahan kaise ghoom sakte hain.. woh to parde ke peeche baiten hain.. dus minute mein maulvi sahab aajayenge.. nikaah ka rasam shuru hojayega...chaliye.. Neelam ke paas...

Zoya : Najma.. chaltein hain.. nikaah hojane do.. baad mein dono ko wish karti hoon.. Mein.. tumhare Asad Bhaijaan ke barein mein pooch rahi thi...

Najma : Asad Bhaijaan to office mein busy hain na.. woh aye nahin ab tak...

Zoya : Haan.. Office ka kaam bahut tha... and she forces a smile ...and there was a drop of tear from her eyes which got unnoticed by Najma and also Asad who had been watching her all this while...

Maulvi walked in at this moment announcing to start the nikaah ceremony...After the formalities were carried out and everybody were congratulating, Adya got a glimpse of Asad and she got down from Zoya and ran towards him and hugged him...

Adya : Dost.. Hum aapse katti hain...

Asad : ab mein ne kya kardiya Adya ?

Zoya also joined them now.. : Mein bhi...Aap janbhuke itni dheer se humein satha rahein the na.. ab hum dono aapse baath nahin karenge...chalo Adya...

Adya : Poophi.. dost to muje kitne dher ke baad mile hain.. kal bhi aap baat kar rahi thi dost sein.. mein nahin aoongi..

Zoya :Lekin aap katti hain na unse..

Adya : Poophi.. katti thi... dost muje ice-cream khilayenge to.. ab phirse friends...

Zoya : aapko unke saath rehna hain.. to teek hain.. main ja rahin hoon...

Asad : Zoya.. itni narazgi kyun...?? Maanjao please...

By that time Najma comes over there...

Najma : Zoya.. chalo Neelam babhi aapko bhula rahi hain...

Leaving Asad and Adya together, Zoya moves with Najma to wish Neelam.. Due to the huge number of guests, Asad did not get a chance to speak to Zoya privately the whole evening..

Next Day Asad's office

Rohan had requested for a meeting with Asad at 10 AM. All the legal matters were sorted out the previous day as per the update from Legal team and hence he was wondering what Rohan had come up with ?

Asad : Hello Mr. Oberio, Good Morning.. Nice to see you in my office.. Tell me what can I do for you ??

Rohan : Hello Mr. Khan.. Actually I need to speak to your business partner Zoya.. I did try reaching her and surprisingly, your staff is not aware of her presence here...

Asad : She is busy at the moment.. Tell me please.. if I may help you out...

Rohan : Actually Mr. Khan, nothing official but I need to talk to her...

Asad thought for a while and he called up Zoya and informed her to come to his cabin...

Zoya : Good Morning.. Hello Mr. Oberio..

Rohan : Hello Zoya !! Main apse milne keliye hi aya hoon..

Zoya : Mujse.. humne sab discussions kiya hain na.. usi din ??

Rohan :Ji Nahin.. Mr. Khan if could excuse us, Zoya aap mere saath chaliye.. muje aapse kuch discuss karna hain...

Zoya : Sorry ?? Akele mein kyun ??

Rohan : Kyunki main official discussion keliye nahin.. personal discussion keliye aya hoon...

Zoya : Excuse me.. Dekhiye.. I don't think it is necessary..

Asad : Excuse me.. Zoya tum inse... yahin baat karo.. mein bahar wait karta hoon..

Zoya : Nahin Asad.. inhe jo bhi kehna hain.. apke samne kahenge.. and she went and held Asad's hand in hers tightly...

Rohan : Well.. if you insist.. Zoya.. mein ek business man hoon.. muje baat ghumake karna adath nahin hain.. let me get to the point.. aap muje bahut pasad ayi. Main apse shaadi karna chatha hoon..

Zoya smiled at him... : Dekhiye... Mera nikaah Asad ke saath ho raha hain...kuch hi din mein.. aur aap humare nikaah pe zaroor ayiyega..

Rohan :Shaadi abhi tak hui nahin hain na.. to aap sochiye.. Zoya.. mein apko bahut kush rakhoonga... patha nahin kyun aaj tak koi pasad nahin ayi thi.. lekin apko dekhthe hi, muje laga ki aap mere liye sahi ladki hain..

Zoya : I am sorry Mr. Oberio.. Meri sagai hochuki hain Asad ke saath aur hum dono ek dusre se bahut pyar bhi karthe hain.. Mein yakeen ke saath kehsakthi hoon ki aapko koi aur acchi ladki zaroor milegi...Mere dil mein sirf Asad hain.. wahan kisi aur keliye koi jagah nahin hain.. kabhi nahin...

Rohan smiled at both of them : Best Wishes aap dono ko.. aap bahut acchi hain.. Mr Khan aap bahut lucky hain.. apko Zoya jaise ladki mili.. lekin agle janam mein Zoya meri hogi..

Zoya : I am so sorry Mr. Oberio.. I am not sure if there is life after death in reality.. but yes.. agar hain to main agle har janam mein sirf Asad ki hosakti hoon.. lekin apke dost zaroor hum dono ban sakthe hain...

Rohan had tears in his eyes when Zoya said it.. : Fine.. Friends then... and he shook hands with both of them...

Rohan : Zoya.. tumhare is dost ko tum kudh ladki choose karogi.. yeh zimmedari to le sakthi ho na ??

Zoya : ofcourse.. and her immediate thought raced towards Nupur, her best friend...Rohan told bye and left the couple...

Asad : Zoya shukriya...I am so happy...

Zoya : Shukriya kiskeliye.. aur haan..aap bhulgaye kya ?? Main ab bhi apse naraz hoon.. Kal humari baath katham nahin hui.. mein bahut dher tak apke phone ka intezar kar rahi thi.. aur teek se so bhi nahin payi...

Asad : I am so sorry Zoya... aur muje patha hain.. apka gussa kaise thanda kiyajasaktha hain... and he hugs her and kisses her on her forehead..

Zoya : Arre.. aap yeh kya kar rahein hain ?? Office hain ??

Asad : To kya hua ?? sab jante hain ki humara nikaah honewala hain..

Zoya : Asad.. Kya yeh Rohan accha admi hain ??

Asad : Aise kyun pooch rahin ho ?

Zoya : Arre Mr. Possessive.. aur buddu ... maine kahan na. ki Yeh Zoya har janam mein sirf Asad ki hosakti hain..mein yeh janna chathi hoon ki woh accha hain ya nahin.. Agar sach mein accha hain.. to Nupur keliye Rohan kaise rahega ??

Asad : Accha yeh baat hain.. Phele mein patha lagata hoon ki woh accha hain ya ki nahin.. baad mein tum Nupur se baath karo...Sach mein woh dono lucky hain.. tumhare jaise dost pa kar...
