hello

i want to sugest Some privacy Which is needed for all of us

Why everyone Can go to MY POSTS On Our Profiles??

Why everyone can check wHAT we have done Since we joined India-Forums? what we posted, In which cc we have been,, and in which forum We have been and ARE??

Is a personal Thing,We dont want everyone in present and futher to know what we have done In India-Forums

is Our Past,

Why cant we ONLY and our buddylist only check our Personal "MY POSTS"???

Alloww it for Buddy List but WHy everyone?

everyone even Newbie Groupie Goldie dizller Everyone can get our personal Info Which we shared years back or days back with our Friends ON CC/FC/ect

thats Disturb Us,,,

it really Does

Want some privacy Please Changed the system and make it Show to our Buddy List ONly

Well , yes i agree with your post...There are some privacy concern , if this thing is not feasible then i would like to see some kind of hiding features like post which i want to hide from members who are not in my buddy list. 😊

Yeah i agree...Privacy is needed.Everyone can view where u've posted and this i hate. Its strange huh how the things that need to appear publicly are not like our Previous UserNames etc but the things that need to be private are visible to the public like everyone viewing where you have posted.

Hi All,

I tend to disagree as the posts are made on a Forum which is anyway public and is indexed by the search engines so its not the question of privacy here.

Well my suggestions would be not to post stuff on a public forum which is "private" in nature or you are not comfortable sharing. For the past posts where you have shared something "personal" and which you do not want others to see can be edited.

exactly...why anyone is free to see our posts. i know i dont share personal stuff in public forum bt still why the hell those people whom i never knew can see it? its annoying to see stalkers from sm forums i dont ever visit checking my posts...i hope this feature changes soon. me and my frnds faced much problems due to this

When you POST on a public forum --don't you expect your posts to be read by people ? Ideally people visiting profiles should be of no concern as they can't really see your PMs/scraps --- Ideally no one should post/share personal info on internet forums - / @ The discussion should be limited to TV shows or forum topics / - For social networking, sharing personal info, I would rather use FB - /

And you can always leverage scraps and PM for personal info with buddies. Anyways you want your posts to be read only by buddies, so why not just scrap/PM them ? - What's the point in joining public forum when you want to protect your posts /

At times, i feel we expect a little too much from this website :P / -

I agree with Admin on this

What we are posting is anyways viewable to the entire world, so where is the question of privacy . Whatever we write here can be easily accessed via google. And all posts are public.

I agree it can be used for stalking but then that is not the only way stalkers stalk

my posts section is useful in finding threads and increases forum activities

And for private stuff there is scrap and PM

I certainly agree with you Vijay sir. 😊

For personal stuffs , there are scraps & PMs service .

Though i also agree with some others who says that My Posts should be only visible to those members who are in our buddy list.😊
