Whether Jai was raped or not is so irrelevant for me. I think that what is relevant is the gross out factor of two sisters both being pregnant by the same man, who happens to be one of their husband. If this is the only way that Ekta can move her storyline forward then she needs to hire some other destructives.
For me personally, the magic that was KS will only be returned if Pia's pollywog is Pushkar's or someone else's.
I love Jai and Bani together but not at any expense. Pia using her child as a weapon to hurt Jai and Bani or to get money or to progress the storyline how sad for the child. This is certainly not a storyline that I would watch. If that were the case, no JDD moments between Jai and Bani would keep me as a loyal viewer of KS.
There are more humane storylines. As some of you have mentioned storylines along this vein have been used in other serials and the characters have never recovered.
Can anyone honestly tell me whether the magic between Jai and Bani would be the same if Pia was forever tied to their lives by having Jai's baby. My stomach churns every time I see her on screen.
Pia is a vindictive, vile character who would throw it in Bani's face at every opportunity that she had Jai's firstborn. Jai would experience all the magical moments of being a father for the first time with Pia's child. Bani would be second, Bani's child would be second - perhaps not in his heart, but to the world.
Jai Walia is a decent, honourable character and it was an impulsive, angry reaction to Karuna's revelation about the Dubai ONS that made him disown the child. I would expect no less from him. I would also expect no less from him to ultimately accept this child. But I think for the magical, the enchanted, the cherished soulwrenching love that Jai and Bani share for each other then his firstborn needs to be his and Bani's.
Being the decent, civilized people that they are Jai and Bani would adopt the child and raise it with love. The storyline could progress with Pia 🤢 coming into their lives to wreak havoc after marrying some rich but equally vile and disgusting person and making a claim on her child - who Jai and Bani now love and cherish as their own.
sorry for the long post - I'm a bit passionate about this. I can't imagine the disgust factor being extended indefinitely and I want true, carefree dizzying moments of JDD not those tainted with regret and remorse.
