His vanity van is a palace on wheels where he prepares, ideates, gets ready, rests and spends some solitary moments when he is not on the set. His home away from home. The stage is set. And so is Shah Rukh Khan. But not without that last tuck-in and primping of his outfit by the stylist.

On his way to the set from the vanity van, SRK was happy to spot an old staff dada. The star takes time to enquire about the old timer's well-being before moving on.

SRK loves gaming. And he loves cars. He spots some remote control cars lying on the sets and gleefully starts playing with them like a child. Son Aryan would approve.

Wherever he goes, his fans mob him. From six to sixty, they all love him. One sixty-year-old lady travelled all the way from Kolkatta just to catch a glimpse of the star on the sets of Dance India Dance. SRK shakes a leg with her while her daughter cheers on. He has another commitment post this show and is in a hurry. The production team rushes the shoot, leaving the contestants no time to set up their performance. SRK is unaware of this. But when he gets to know it, he walks up to the contestant and apologises profusely.

Farah Khan, a friend for years, shares a few moments with the star during the shoot of a reality show.

The perfectionist in him surfaces even at one in the morning as he wants everything to go right for the promotional shoot. He takes some time off to amuse himself between takes.

Despite the commotion around, SRK and Karan share a few moments of composure and calm.

Chennai Express release is just a few days away and the team is set to work on the upcoming promos and other activities related to the film. SRK is amused watching some glimpses and leaves everyone in splits with his witty one liners.

It's time for the music launch of Chennai Express. The media frenzy at an SRK event is unmatched. The star is as good with words as he is with his charisma. He keeps the humour flowing as he handles questions from the media. A bit of fun and frolic is quite a must.
