Who do u think are the most overrated and underrated music directors ??
I find mithoon very underrated as a music director

Underrated - Amit Trivedi, Mithoon and Sachin Jigar

Overrated - Vishal Shekhar, Himesh Reshamiya (baring his older work) & AR Rahman off recently

Amit Trivedi is incredibly talented! He shows a lot of diversity in his music too! There are times I can't believe some of songs he's done because they're so different. Very unconventional stuff too.

Underrated is DEFINNITELY Sachin Jigar!

They are so good, they make extremely catchy and popular songs, something about them you really can't hate. I do hope they get bigger and better projects because they are totally capable of handling them. I've noticed that a lot of their projects have been relatively small movies, think they're a very sound investment in my opinion.

I'm listening to the album of Desi Shudh Romance and I gotta say, they are soo good at their work! Loving the instrumental songs they've put into the album

I would disagree with most people who say Amit Trivedi. In my opinion I think he's really really skilled, and for a fresh change, he gets the right amount of credit for it, not too much nor too less.

ok love some of his songs but AR Rahman is very much over rated these days! 🥱 after the whole slumdog millionare craze, he is treated as some sorta legend whereas his recent songs haven't been much upto the mark and other music directors atm are just as good !

Over-rated: Vishal Shekhar.
Under-rated: Amit Trivedi, Mithoon (Tum Hi Ho composer)

ESPECIALLY Mithoon, this guy has made amazing songs ever since he started composing and he's a fabulous singer as well. Guy behind Phir Mohabbat, Woh Ajnabi, Aye Khuda, Javeda Zindagi and Tum Hi Ho. He's bloody amazing, and it's a shame he never gets credit for it. :/
