You know I really thought Pramad would be a strong a$$ villain but he's actually a sore loser. He's a weakling! Just like he was in the novel I guess.

If you accept what the synopsis, the novel and what SLB's style is then no-one would think the storyline is being butchered for TRPs. It's a painful love story and I'm sorry but I don't understand what some people expect. Should Saras & Kumud just be happy happy? It really hurts me too but I was always mentally prepared for this.

Shana, if you watch the show as it was meant to be (tragic love story which a complete ending) then you will get what I'm saying ;) nothing is being changed. Yes it's depressing but the bigger picture was, is and always will be about Saras and Kumud.

Reema, I never had any doubts about Pramad continuing to being the jackass he is, till he dies..just like in the novel..there too he sleeps around with a courtesan and when caught in the act, he directs the blame towards Kumud who he finds out had a relationship with Saras , isn't it? So where is the deviation from the original story like many are saying? I don't get it.. TRPs will be considered for the treatment, the way they show the sequence of events but they will not make a 180 degree flip from the original story.. I think they have strictly adhered to the original plot so far.. though I would like them to end it with Saras Kumud .. that will justify all the pain n torture , the characters and we the viewers are enduring seeing them apart.. even otherwise, I hate the ending of the novel for number of reasons, not just because the leads didn't end up together..

I am a little caught up with work Shana.. I do watch the show but keep my views to myself most of the time.. sometimes I comment in CB.. Its sad that from day 1 , this show has been marred with so much unnecessary offscreen drama/rumors , that it has never allowed the goodness of the show to shine through unblemished..mostly in this forum.. so I feel if I read less opinions, and believe what I think when I watch the show , its better for me.. Arshi's CB is one good place though..and Reema ofcourse if very precise and our opinions match all the time lol so its better to be around like minded people.. those who think otherwise, what can I say..its their opinion

Mrs BD is kind when it concerns her son, and nothing else. CVs have trashed both the characters of Saras and Kumud, turning one into a doormat and the other into an egotist with lofty attitude.

Pramad's mother is extremely flawed in that she knows of all her son's weaknesses but still insists on covering for him rather than trying to fix his behavior. However, I don't think Pramad is a victim of circumstances by any means. Yeah, his father's disappointment and mother's constant smothering have contributed to spoiling him, but he still had the ability to make his own decisions. As Saras said in today's episode, he was broken too after everything that he went through - but Saras still has a moral compass. Pramad is rude and abusive, and I don't see him getting "fixed" any time soon.
