Manipulative Saubhagyadevi

Not Kalika, not Pramad but his MOTHER unfortunately is the most pathetic & manipulative character in the show. She is so blinded by her motherly love that she continuously tells Kumud how pitiful Pramad's state is. He's a victim of circumstances! Today she sweetly told Kumud how if she ever has any complaints against Pramad then she should tell no-one but her. Why is that? So she can continue protect Pramad.

I would not be surprised if her colours completely change once Saras & Kumud's truth is out. Her concern is for Pramad and Pramad only.

i too hate SD coz that woman irritates me the way she positifies pramad making kumud more and more soft for him...whatever...i have lost all my hopes at present

hate coming to forum as many have already accepted kusum as saras next ...and bashing kumud for everything...i hate this forum and blind people here who cannot see kumuds goodness .

i love saras and i love kumud too but then my love for them does not make me blind.

and truth is samud is over at present ...i will breath fresh only when i see the rekindling and rebirth of samud

till then i am really angry ...very very angry

reems u omi and arshi make me smile and give me hopes to come back to the forum else ...

i feel my friends themselves have gone one sided blind...sorry they r not my friends now

Trust me Shana. That woman only has her sons interest in mind. Do you think she doesn't know about Kalika and Pramad? She can't be that blind surely. I don't see her supporting Saras and Kumud at all. But even then would anyone understand their relationship?

I know you're upset about the current track and so am I. It does hurt but their love is meant to be full of pain & hurdles. These are the obstacles in their way but they will come together eventually :)

@reemz...seeing SD behavior to saras made me feel so coz she cares for saras a lot...be it medicine food and wound...its she who asks if he eat food and its she who fought with pramad for hurting saras...plus she feels kuumud is in a swamp.

but then her constant bak bak for my son prammy irritates us and softens kumud everytime for him...as per novel too its this SD who will keep kumud shackled to the family izzat maan maryada...by her constant bak bak ...and will liberate Kumud too asking her to marry saras

That lady is plain irritating. She has been shielding Pramad and now is doing her best to train Kumud to do what she has been doing all these years. I hate it when Kumud tries to protect Pramad n then looks at SD who has relief n pride in her eyes like "aaah! Thanks! Job well done :D Pramad is not a victim of circumstances.. Not everyone needs a tragic past to turn out like him.. He is wasted, free loader, good for nothing.. No excuses!!! SD's sweet talks irritate me -_____- almost as much as Kusum.. And you are right, I totally trust her to do a backflip when the truth comes out..

@ shana- dont loose heart :) this story was never meant to be candyfloss romance. We wil get Saras Kumud in the end.. Stayin away from all the negativity in the forum is actually good.

You know I really thought Pramad would be a strong a$$ villain but he's actually a sore loser. He's a weakling! Just like he was in the novel I guess.

If you accept what the synopsis, the novel and what SLB's style is then no-one would think the storyline is being butchered for TRPs. It's a painful love story and I'm sorry but I don't understand what some people expect. Should Saras & Kumud just be happy happy? It really hurts me too but I was always mentally prepared for this.

Shana, if you watch the show as it was meant to be (tragic love story which a complete ending) then you will get what I'm saying ;) nothing is being changed. Yes it's depressing but the bigger picture was, is and always will be about Saras and Kumud.

She is blinded by her love for her eldest son, but I think even she realizes her folly now because of the way he drinks and treats other people. She was the one who admitted she should have let the father deal with him. I feel she shielded him in the beginning of his youth because she felt guilty that he was overdisciplined by Buddhidhan in favor of Alak. She was hoping that her love would dissolve some of the bitterness in her son, but obviously nothing could do that apart from the man who created it in the first place.
