😊I 2 had expected that i will c some romance or at least tender moments between akbar and ruquiya on announment of the news.but i have seen the scene and it had NOTHING of that sort. speaking most impartially,akbar was very happy with the news but he had not even a hint of passion whole giving ruquiya a peck on the head. as amelia very correctly pointed out ,it was out of gratitude and even though it was a kiss and earlier he just held jodha's hand,the difference is clearly evident. he DOESN'T HAVE ANY PASSION ragardind his feeling for ruquiya.he considers her to be his best friend but there is nothing passionate about it.
i would even say he is affectionate for her but every emotion he feels falls under the category of friendship.however today's aarti scene almost pin pointed before us that even when jodha stands near akbar,passion oozes out.there is something very deep,almost primeval about it.i would love to know ur opinion about it.😛😊
