I am here with the next chap..
I said i'll post it after my exams are over but i felt like i was doing injustice with this story of mine by not posting it for so long, so here i am with the update..😆
Had written in a hurry so ignore the typos.😳
Chapter 6
Rohit who was by Arnav's side was smiling listening this conversation between Arnav and Khushi. He really wanted Arnav to accept his feelings and take this friendship to another level or a say step ahead. He Didn't want Arnav to lose his love just like he did. Arnav who had by now finished talking with Khushi turned towards Rohit and saw him smiling.. He was sure of what was coming up next from Rohit's side and he didn't want to discuss on the matter again so he just started some other random topic and this didn't go unnoticed by Rohit. He knew why Arnav had started a new topic all of a sudden and he was okay with it. He didn't want to force him to confess or accept his feelings, he just was saying him to understand that soon so that he doesn't lose his precious gem, the love of his life, like him.. Rohit too loved a girl from his school and she loved him too but they had always taken this as a good friendship. But then when they had actually known about that feeling they were no longer together.. He knew things are very different between his case and Arnav's case but he didn't want Arnav to take a chance though..
On the other hand Khushi was happy.. She was happy as finally her short timed doubt was clear and she came to know that her best friend had no any girlfriend and had not hidden anything from her either.. She was feeling stupid for thinking Arnav would hide such a big thing from her.. He was right she should really not use her brain much or it would burst out.. She smiled at her thought and with a big smile on her lips went back to her dreamland as she had to attend her classes next morning and it was already very late.
Arnav and his friend had a great party and finally he came back to his own apartment which he had not stepped into from last one week from the day he had fallen ill. He Didn't know why but after talking to Khushi about the "GIRLFRIEND" topic Arnav was feeling different.. He couldn't help but smile thinking how innocently Khushi had asked about his so called girlfriend who was no less than a lil sister to him. Though she was fully enraged, he found her innocent at that moment and he himself didn't knw why .. He changed into his night dress and went to sleep only to meet his "best friend" in his dreams..
Aman and Khushi still shared a good relation as friends.. They were not studying at the same university but they used to meet sometimes and hangout remembering those old good times and both of them missed Arnav dearly during those meetings. That day Khushi was returning back home after her classes and she met Aman on her way back home. It had been weeks they had last met as they both were busy with their own studies so they decided to go for a coffee.. Aman still remembered the short lived relation they shared once and their break-up.. Though he never said anyone but he still loved Khushi and wanted her back in his life and this time he had vowed not to do that foolishness again which he had done the last time only if she agreed for this relation.. They were having some snacks along with the coffee and were chatting.. Khushi was saying him how she talked with Arnav everyday and Aman could notice a different glint on Khushi's eyes today while talking about Arnav which he had never seen before.. They talked for some more time and they decided to leave.. Aman had not got his bike along with him so they walked all they way to Khushi's way as it was already dark and he just couldn't let her go alone. On the way also they talked and joked and finally they reached at Khushi's place.. Khushi thanked him and bid him goodbye but was stopped by Aman's call.. Aman finally gathered some courage and told Khushi about his feelings.. He explained how badly he loved her and wanted her in his life.. Khushi was black after hearing all that from Aman.. For her, the short lived relation she shared with Aman was like a faded memory.. She had in fact forgot that they shared any such relation.. She just remembered their friendship and nothing else and she didn't want to remember that too.. And there Aman was proposing her. She felt lack of words and couldn't say anything.. All she managed to say was that she needed time to think about it.. Though Aman just nodded to what she said but he was pretty sure about her answer.. He knew she was in love with somebody who is non other than her best friend but she herself hadn't realized it.. He just said bye and left from there leaving a numb Khushi behind..
Khushi didn't know why but she felt something deep down her heart.. She had said Aman that she needed time to thing about it but she clearly knew the answer.. But she was amazed by the feeling that she was going through.. She felt that not only Aman but she could have no other guy in her life as she belonged to somebody and she herself didn't know who that somebody was.. She blankly entered her room and threw her bags on the table and was resting on her bed when her phone vibrated.. She checked who the caller was and it was none other than Arnav.. She answered the call instantly and was talking with him but she was lost and Arnav could sense it.. He asked her what the matter was and that's when she said him about Aman proposing her.. Arnav didn't know why but he felt something tug his heart. He suddenly felt an unknown emotion surging deep down his heart and he had a urge to ask her what she replied..
Arnav: Toh what did you reply??
Khushi: Nothing.. I just said I need some time to think about it..
Arnav: And what have you thought about it??
Khushi: Aothing yet..(she lied)
Arnav: Now what's that nothing? You need to reply him with something na?
Khushi: Baad mein sochingi aur kahungi yaar.[ will think and tell about that later] At this time I'm not getting anything in my mind.. I am feeling different from the time he had proposed me..
Arnav(mutely): Even I'm feeling different from the time you've said that.
Arnav(to Khushi): You take your time and take a wise decision..
Khushi: (blankly) Arnav mein kuch puchoon?? [Arnav shall i ask you something?]
Arnav: Khushi woh khudme ek question tha..[ That was a question itself, Khushi.]
Khushi: (frowning) Arnav I'm serious..
Arnav: Ask na then.. From when did you need to seek a permission even to ask me a question? Pagal!!
Khushi: (blankly)What would happen if anyone of us fall in love with the other??
She didn't know why she asked this question but she couldn't help but ask him this.. She really wanted to know the answer of it.. But this question really did wonders to Arnav.. He just didn't knw what to answer but he had to answer it any way.. He thought for a while and replied..
Arnav: Erm Khushi.. I need to go at this moment.. Rohit is here and we have to go somewhere and we're getting late. Will talk with ya later.. Take care..
Arnav said this all in one go without letting her speak anything and hanging the call let out a huge sigh.. This was the only thing that he could do because he didn't have the answer to the question which Khushi asked.. His mind simply said that they were just best friends and something like this would never happen and wanted to say the same but his tongue was not supporting him to say it and his heart too as his heart knew something was there in that question and that moment.. So he just replied whatever he could..
Khushi on the other side was confused.. Confused for her own stupid question and more confused with how Arnav didn't answer the question and just cut the call.. She just wanted to know why she blurted out that question so she started thinking.. She could really sense some things had changed but she couldn't say what.. She still needed time for knowing that..!

Sorry if this was kind of filler update but this was all i could manage..
