E24 - Sandhya ka naya karnama

Thanks for sharing. Are they not stretching Sandhya, the dumb girl a bit too much. When I said Sandhya should know the basics in kitchen I was told Bhabo never gave up control...what about this...she has been shown ironing many times...Now in this new house she has to burn the kurta...Whether Bhabo changes or not Sandhya definitely seems to have changed over night from an intelligent girl to a dumbwit. We are used to seeing radical transformation in Emily...Maybe part of the same cycle.

umaji from shobi's update it seems she is having something in the stove and then ironing. It is not the problem with ironing, she might have jumped to switch off the cooking stove leaving iron as it is 😃😃. So it seems ironing is not the problem, but multitasking is which is not that stupid

Thanks for sharing. Uma ji, though I'm not sure about what Sandy did, burning clothes can be accidental also. I've burnt many though I know well to iron. But one thing I agree. Sandy became a dumb within a day. May be because she lost 'Bhabho'...

Shruthi my point was made in the larger context...sequence of events showing her to be even more dumb then Emily...ironing adding to the list...I have not seen SBS but this radical overnight transformation unnerves me...Not knowing cooking I can empathise but other things I find it very difficult to digest...Time and again right from Emily's times the CVs are proving Bhabo's larger judgement to be right.

What kind of a change in Sandhya's character are we talking about here 😕 ..Isnt she the same girl whose character was introduced while running after a theif and since then she was shown succeeding in almost every such matter.
Other than this in the first few episodes Sandhya while talking to her family members said that she's someone who can't even make tea on her own , then why do they want to ruin someone's life by getting her married ..Then her bhabhi suggested well educated guys and normally in all such houses there are servants around .
Sandhya is bound to learn household stuff as her in laws want her to ..Now that when she's doing everything on her own . .how do u expect her not to make any mistake ? even the experts tend to make mistakes while multi tasking or maybe cause of being over worked and confused. Its not about being dumb

Veggies burning.. or Clothes while ironing ..are not things that happen coz of dumbness.. its usually coz one is preoccupied or not focussing..

It needs not be because of pre occupying. It is because you dont how to handle 2 things. For e.g if I have been handling kitchen for sometime I have a vague idea when the whistle will come for chaval or dal etc..So even if I am ironing , I will keep the stove in sim or after a certain period will check on stove. Also for a experienced person we know how many whistles are needed for chaval say 4 whistles. So after 3 whistles if I am ironing, I will keep the iron box proper go to gas stove switch it off after 4th whistle come back and iron.
