as someone mentioned before, there is a possibility that Ved may have some ulterior motive. maybe he is not a villian at all. jaisi ma, waisa beta nahin. maybe he is helping disha is some way. everything is possible in TD.

maybe he wants Disha feel guilty every second, that's y he keeps saying I Luv Dish. he want her to live with the guilt she ran away from the mandap.

maybe he is a greater villian, one step ahead of Gargi. maybe he did not shoot DK. someone else shot DK, wearing Ved's mask. exactly the way, Pori wore Disha's mask. so if Ved is arrested for murdering DK (though he survived), Ved can easily say at the time of murder, he was elsewhere. he may also have a alibi to support him. maybe he wants to take revenge from his mom also. he said to disha before the marriage "my dear ones who were close to me, have all hurt me".
