Divya lacked the sophistication that Sridevi had in her acting. Divya was very sweet in some of the movies she had acted in, but when it came to Sridevi, she was no match.

Divya was so beautiful...she would have surely become the number 1 actress...But Sri was excellent in Laadla as the rich spoilt brat...Divya looked more like an innocent kid...

I would have loved to see more of SRK-Divya...they made such a cute pair...

I mean, you have to remember by this time Sridevi had worked in over like 100 movies in like 3 different languages. She was much more experienced whereas then Divya was still fairly new, she was just 19. And plus its been years, we are so use to seeing Sri in this role, give Divya the benfit of the doubt she probably would have made this her character in her own special way.
