Fresh faces, different approaches, newer talent and a lot of positive energy is what Bollywoodhas witnessed this year with a number of debutantes making a splash on the big screen. Here's a list of the most promising debutantes to look forward to.

Rashi Khanna

John Abraham has proved lucky for debutantes Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam, and Madras Cafe looks like yet another promising film that might be the kind of launchpad Rashi was looking for. And reportedly she has already been signed for John's next home production.

Rhea Chakraborty
Bollywood Debut: Mere Dad Ki Maruti opposite Saqib Saleem
Upcoming Films: Sonali Cable with Raghav Juyal
Though she is not new to glambiz, (she was a VJ for many shows alongside Ayushmann Khurrana), Rhea started off her Bollywood career with Mere Dad Ki Maruti this year. And in spite of being a part of a no star cast film; she has another big banner flick in her kitty.

Taapsee Pannu

It was a real tough job to step into the shoes of Deepti Naval in the remake of the cult classicChashme Baddoor, but southern import Taapsee ruled the screen with a dimpled smile and an endearing presence. And now the Delhi girl has also inked in another untitled project.

Sonalee Kulkarni and Gujarati TV actress KarishmaTanna (has done various southern films before) are set to make their B-Town debut with Grand Masti opposite RiteshDeshmukh andVivekOberoi respectively

Pallavi Sharda

After making guest appearances and cameos in big budget films like My Name Is Khan andHeroine, Australia-based Pallavi has finally graduated to grab a leading role opposite the BO prince Ranbir Kapoor in the upcoming Besharam. That's some career graph for a debutante.

Tammanaah Bhatia

Upcoming Films: It's Entertainment with Akshay Kumar
Tammanah made a forgettable Bollywood debut with Chand Sa Roshan Chehra in 2005, before moving to South where she ruled the BO for sometime. A lead role in Himmatwala has put Tam in the forefront in Bollywood and the picture-perfect actress has already landed another big ticket assignment in B-Town.

Pooja Salvi

It might just be a coincidence, but Pooja's first ever face off with camera in a TVC was directed by Rohan Sippy. And though he didn't remember that small detail even after finalizing her, she played the lead role in a film directed by him!

The girl from Mere Dad ki maruti and Amyra from ishaqq are hot.

I like have always liked Rhea from the MTV teen diva days! She is cute but I don't think she can do much in BW. She just does not have that X factor. She was better off VJing !

Pooja Salvi from Nautanki Saala is hot and deserves more roles.
