jalal and ruqu are best friends,they don't hide anything from each other,and jodha also didn't hide it from ruqu that she doesn't want jalal to come close to her.hence she knows everything about JJ r/ship..
And one more thing the way a kingdom need to be handled not necessarily will be the way to handle marital issues too. jalal being a king knows politics of a kingdom,but that can't be applied in jodha's case.. Hence it is not necessary to expect from him that he himself can easily handle jodha like his country..

It does not suit a princess or queen. She always demands instead of requesting. E.G. She demanded that he not disclose their personal conflict to her parents, she barged into court and informed Akbar that he can't kill moti. What is this? You would think a princess would be well spoken especially when SHE is the one in need. She doesn't even show any gratitude for having her demands fulfilled, she thinks its her right. She is forgetting that person granting her wishes is her much hated mugal emperor who doesn't need to fulfill any of her demands.

U r right .. this was a political alliance no doubt and women those days were pretty much secondary to the husbands. The rules were as such. especially in a sultans harem. Too many beautiful women vying for attention from one man . Bechara Akhbar kaya kare.

As to them showing too much of Ruqqiya begum... this is just a serial. Mostly thought it was wed, bed and forget till the next time. There was too much on the emperors plate to be gossiping around one wife.
