Ya my dear maybe I am expecting tooo much from Ekta afterall!!!!😛

jalal and ruqu are best friends, they don't hide anything from each other, and jodha also didn't hide it from ruqu that she doesn't want jalal to come close to her.hence she knows everything about JJ r/ship..
And one more thing the way a kingdom need to be handled not necessarily will be the way to handle marital issues too. jalal being a king knows politics of a kingdom, but that can't be applied in jodha's case.. Hence it is not necessary to expect from him that he himself can easily handle jodha like his country..

Yes I like ur view point !!!! But my problrm is that Jodha ia arrogant here as a husbandtill now he has neither put her down nor has he insulted her butshe has even the Kids parents were released by AKBar she was outright rude with him and he did tell her she did not know the truth yet she never bothered to find out...OK u dont like but dont announce it to ur enemies to keep him away...I have a problem with her announcing her relationship status in a deorgatory tone.

Same problem with Akbar doeshe really need Ruq advice...he is sensible enough as a inteligent and good man he does not need Ruq advice to demean her

Ya i guess thats the case but I do wish JA were shown a little more realistically and differently

It does not suit a princess or queen. She always demands instead of requesting. E.G. She demanded that he not disclose their personal conflict to her parents, she barged into court and informed Akbar that he can't kill moti. What is this? You would think a princess would be well spoken especially when SHE is the one in need. She doesn't even show any gratitude for having her demands fulfilled, she thinks its her right. She is forgetting that person granting her wishes is her much hated mugal emperor who doesn't need to fulfill any of her demands.

Bang on !!!!! YES thats what I mean at that era things were different at least dont her make look
like an arrogant fool.

Even Akbar he is an intelligent man ..dont make him a spineless fool discussing with his fav wife how to fix Jodha!!

I agree with your point that Jalal discussing Jodha with Ruqs rubs me the wrong way, but then again he has no other friend to discuss his personal issues...and I think since none of us have had a childhood friend we've married - we don't even know how that equation works...now, he doesn't do the same with anyone else (not even MA or his mom!) So, I'll probably give him benefit of doubt as long as he doesn't make a habit of it...

However, I'm in slight disagreement with the rest of your views...

Firstly, where is there proof to fall back on to say that queens and princesses were not arrogant in yesteryears...we go by what we've interpreted from historical books and narratives...I'm sure arrogance was not a trait born yesterday...[for e.g. if one reads about Sanyogita in PRC raso in some places it does portray her as an arrogant princess who didn't get along with PRC's 6 other wives]

Also, Jodha barging in yesterday made total sense - if she'd waited or begged or pleaded Moti would have been dead...
This is in contrast to the other time when she actually asked her 'Shehenshah' permission to even talk to Mothi in court...

Yes, she is arrogant - but only with Jalal in private and she's never retorted unless she's been provoked...and this has only happened with MA and Ruqs...we dont' see her complaining about Jalal to Hameeda (when we know Hameeda is the only one who likes Jodha there)...and as for Jalal...he's no doodh ka dhula either...he knows why she hates him, yet he's never actively sought trying to clear the air...almost like he loves the fact that Jodha hates him and yet has to submit to him...

and when this cruel Jalal has been accepted by public (a stark contrast to his ever-kind counterpart in the movie) why not accept a defiant Jodha too...

A well matched arrogant couple me thinks...😃...with a lot of dramatic license obviously..

U r right .. this was a political alliance no doubt and women those days were pretty much secondary to the husbands. The rules were as such. especially in a sultans harem. Too many beautiful women vying for attention from one man . Bechara Akhbar kaya kare.

As to them showing too much of Ruqqiya begum... this is just a serial. Mostly thought it was wed, bed and forget till the next time. There was too much on the emperors plate to be gossiping around one wife.

Thanks for ur reply actually I have no problem with the add ons!!! I have a problem with the potrayal of fthe great King and a great queen...

The way he dicusses J with raq makes him like a baby who ran away with his fav toy and he istaking his freinds help to teach her a lesson...

and Johda toh a ungrateful fuss pot...i did not like her ...wen she told Mahamag that keep Jalal away from her..
