Suraj cannot see his mother in pain or be a silent spectator if she is hurt. His love for her is too strong. He moved out of the mansion to avoid hurting his mother.
The move is just opposite the mansion so he can see her every day. Why Sandhya love bhabo so much and is ready to sacrifice everything for her is a big mystery and a bigger puzzle.
