Did Ashnoor Kaur and Abhishek Bajaj know each other before BB19? Nishant Singh Malkani clarifies

A short clip from an old concert recently went viral, leading to speculation that Bigg Boss 19 contestants Abhishek Bajaj and Ashnoor Kaur had known each other before entering the reality show. In the video, Ashnoor is seen dancing energetically alongside a male friend whose face is not visible.

The clip quickly fuelled rumours among netizens, with many suggesting that Ashnoor and Abhishek’s friendship inside the BB19 house was staged. Some accused the duo of plotting a fake camaraderie to gain an advantage in the game.

Television actor Nishant Singh Malkani, a close friend of Ashnoor, stepped in to clarify the situation. He revealed that he was the one attending the concert with Ashnoor, and the arm seen at the start of the viral video belongs to him.

Dismissing the rumours, Nishant said, “That arm with the sleeve at the beginning of this video is mine. Ashnoor is a kid, sis, and we attended that concert together. Kindly don’t spread misinformation.” He further confirmed that Abhishek Bajaj was not part of that event and that the actress and Abhishek did not have any personal interaction there.

Nishant also urged social media users to avoid jumping to conclusions based on short or edited clips. According to him, the video merely showed Ashnoor and Abhishek at the same event, but in separate frames and moments.

Despite clarifications, some fans continued to speculate about a prior connection, interpreting the clip as evidence of a hidden friendship. The discussion gained more attention after Abhishek Bajaj’s recent eviction from Bigg Boss 19. His departure reportedly affected Ashnoor emotionally, with viewers noticing her breakdown and inconsolable state on the show.

For now, the actor’s explanation puts the matter to rest, highlighting the dangers of misinformation and the need to verify context before drawing conclusions from viral videos.
