he is a good entertainer in reality shows and was a good host in kwk . Everyone in the industry have only good things to say about him . He is grounded,even attends tv stars parties .i think he is good human

No, He has made great movies like KKHH, KHNH. One of the finest directors we have today! But SOTY was crap though.

Overrated director? Yes but as a producer he's quite good.

But he's best as a host - I think he needs to have a show like Conan or Graham Norton and have a year round chat show with all the celebs bitching about each other

He has made classics, commercial classics, but classics nevertheless.

KKHH and KBKG are movies that people will watch even generations later because it's almost like an intro. to bollywood.

but, right now he is taking a back seat and just producing, he is giving all the young directors a chance through his production house and making some great money through all those hit flicks.

So, smart? Yes. Overrated? Maybe but I think he is only exception to the rule. ;)

On the contrary I actually find him underrated. One of the finest directors in Bollywood, yet some people always like to mock him.

I think KJO is a better producer as opposed to a director. I prefer the movies he has produced such as Wake up Sid , Dostana and Kal Ho Naa Ho . Overall he is the better host, compared to other chat show hosts, he makes the interviews a lot more entertaining and intersting.
