I simply can not digest how monochromic her character is portrayed. She is made out to be a complete vamp, which certainly does not agree with what history says of her. She after all raised her stepson and step grandson.
Hence my question is how can Lady Ruqqaiya witness the blatant attempt of rape of a woman in front of her very own eyes? Let us not forget that she was of noble birth, and the Empress. Someone like her would no doubt be taught strong ethics and justice.
I wish they added more grey shades to her character to be more believable.
