Why should the Kids pay for their Parents deed?

Disclaimer - I have only recently started watching QH regularly. So if I have missed an episode/interview on this topic, please enlighten me.

With recent happenings, I am reading a lot of posts saying Nikhat is paying/ will pay for Shireen's deeds or Ayaan's actions, etc. This particular line of thought had me thinking and wondering.

As far as I know, we don't really know the circumstances of Shireen and Rashid's marriage. Nor do we know why Rashid had to leave his true love for this alternate family. So is Shireen's crime that she is the other woman/ second wife? But can she be labelled a criminal without knowing the circumstances that made her who she is? Yes she has said some awful stuff to Dilshaad recently, so I see why people call her names. But that still does not make her responsible for Dilshaad's heart break (and I don't mean heart ache). Innocent until proven guilty, anyone?

Same with Rashid, yes he left his first family after the fire at gudiya factory. And based on the information we have, it looks like Razia with the pictures was most likely the reason he had to leave his family. However, Ayaan was born before Najma. So there is a good chance he was juggling well between the two families or else there would not be a Najma and a simialr aged Nikhat. So it's not like Shireen made him leave his other family. Maybe she did, but I don't want to just assume.

Another thing, that I have always heard/ read and believed is that kids are innocent of the crimes committed by their parents. Its not like the kids asked them to commit the crime in the first place. So why should the kids be paying for the crimes of their parents? And in this situation, we don't even have enough information on the crime that was committed.

I am really curious as to why is everyone constantly talking about how Shireen's kids have to suffer for her wrong doings. Karma, I always thought was about our own deeds. Hindusim preaches that we pay for "our" past/present lives crimes in this life.

Feel free to ignore if what I am asking makes no sense or it is a dead horse (discussed so much that no one wants to bother about it anymore)

Unfortunately, in many cases, the children pay the sins of their parents.
Why?
Perhaps because it hurts most parents when their child is suffering because of his sin, then they are, sincerely repent for their sins.

The Bible says: When parents eat sour grapes, their kids teeth are set on edge.

not necessary that karma is individualized

was reading in Gita that there can be accumulative effects of karma, like say for eg a bus accident where unknown people are at one point and have an injury, so kids do reap effects from parents

Its a good point:

Shireen didnt know Rashid was married before. Thats why she left Rashid when Aayan was a few years old. That's when Asad raised him as a kid.

The story hasn't been carved out.

But the idea was that if Shireen was the reason why Dilshaad and the kids suffered, then Shireen's kids will make the sacrifice for Asad and Najma's happiness aka:

The current track of Nikhat sacrificing for Najma

The future track of of Aayan sacrificing for Zoya. Though the more I think about it, these 2 cannot get married, as it would be gross that Aayan was married to Humera's sister and then returning to Humera. It's too much of brothers and sisters sharing one another. Eek!

Thanks for commenting...
That is very interesting what the Bible says...I had read it once...years ago. Feeling the pinch, and paying for it by suffering (the way Nikhat is) is very different. Don't you think so?

Yes, when children suffer, parents repent. But they have to first realize their own mistakes for that, right?
I guess my problem is that everyone is adjudging that NIkhat's suffering is payment for Humera's (Ayaan) and Dilshaad's (Shireen) sufferings and she has to face further heartache till she has paid off for their mistakes. I find this thinking wrong. Nikhat is a an innocent bystander here as far as Ayaan and Shireen go. She may have added up her own negative Karma point by staying ignorant of Najm's sufferings in the childhood, despite coming across her in various walks of life. Maybe that is why she is suffering and Najma is getting her love?
If someone should pay for what Ayaan and Shireen (probably) did, it should be them.

Shireen wished bad for Dilshaad's sons wedding. Both her engaged kids are still single too. There Karma...That is what makes sense.

Well I've been watching the show from the beginning, and from I've seen and understand, Dilshaad was Rashid's first wife, then met Shirin and married her as well (or had an affair with her), but both women did not know about the other. When Najma first told the story to Zoya she said that her mother had found out that Rashid had another home. When Shirin found out she left Rashid. Ghafoor is like Shirin's brother so him and Razia blackmailed him into staying with Shirin. What I feel is that Shirin may have asked Rashid to choose between her or Dilshaad and he couldn't hence she left him, but I could be wrong since the full story hasn't been revealed yet.
I don't think it's Shirin's kids will pay for her deeds and Nikhat is paying for her deeds, but rather her curse is backfiring on her. She had stooped so low to where she had cursed Dilshaad's children, but instead karma got back at her and her children are suffering from it.

Actually Nikhat is not paying for anyone's misdeeds as she has been rescued from a loveless marriage , a Nasty Mother in law and a lifetime of heartache. She just doesn't know it yet that how lucky she is ...😃
