Character Sketch
Angad Khanna: He's a twenty-five year old guy who might be about to get married to Kripa Kapoor, a girl he's never met in his entire life. HE has only agreed to meet her for his parents' sake. He's a handsome young dude, who's lived and grown up in New York his entire life. Although he obeys his parents and considers their opinion in most important decisions of his life, he's sensible and good-natured enough to make his own decisions when he has to. He has graduated from Yale with a degree in Law with top grades. He will be starting work with a law firm as a criminal lawyer in five months; it is an arranged marriage which he has agreed to consider. Usually jokes around, and often spends the night clubbing with his friends. Loves his parents, brother, and sister a lot. Sometimes acts spoilt and like a brat. Rich. Not the type of person he seems to be on first impressions. Still free, eligible bachelor till now.

Arjun Khanna: Angad's elder brother who's twenty-seven and has been adopted by Angad's parents. He is aware of this fact, although no one else knows. His parents never treated him differently and he does the same. Never thought about his real parents. He is very different from Angad.Well-known fashion photographer in New York. Married to Riya .He's a reserved person madly in love with his wife.

Alisha Khanna: Angad's youngest sister who studies in university. She is nineteen years old and a very outgoing type of girl. Very beautiful and looking for MR.RIGHT. She's the apple of both her brothers' eyes and loves them both with her life. (More about her later). (Played by Shruti Seth)
Kripa Kapoor: She is a young, beautiful girl, twenty-two years of age, who is currently in India. She has never had too many major ambitions in life. Pretty simple, in fact. After receiving a degree in medicine from one of the most well-known universities in Canada, she's back in India with her parents whom she dearly loves. Patient, easy-going, lively, and sometimes shy, she's a movie fanatic. She would be called the typical Indian girl. So, when her parents asked her to meet a guy for marriage. She agrees hesitantly only to keep their heart. And, suddenly she's off on a whirlwind tour that might change her life.

Seema and Vivek Kapoor: Kripa's parents. They are loving and caring parents to their only child, Kripa.They will sacrifice the whole world for her if asked. They are a very close-knit family. They are in their early fifties and own the Kapoor Industries in India, where they're settled. Although they take part in high-society parties, very down to earth and sensible people. They are very close friends with Angad's parents whom they've known from their college days.
Shalini and Karan Khanna: Angad, Raj, and Alisha's parents. Both love their children a lot. Very close friends with Kripa's parents. Owner of the Khanna Fashion House, renowned all over America and abroad. Like Kripa's parents personality-wise, never force their children and understand them very well. However, they may be strong-minded occasionally.
*Riya Saran/Arjun's wife: She's twenty-four years old,and a very kind,practicaland loving person,married to Arjun whom she fell madly in love with in college.The daughter of a famous industrialist settled in London.She's a housewife ,and also helps out Karan sometimes as his assistant.She couldn't ask anything more in life.Loves taking care of her husband's family.consideers his parents her own.(side character,might be important later)played by Amisha Patel.
