Vasu Bhau€™s presence in Ganesh Chawl was always considered a given, but now there are increasing doubts about Vasu actually being Mohan. The differences between the two are glaring, but still the circumstances do leave some room for suspicion. Let€™s take a look.
Aai€™s behaviour- Whenever Mama raises the similarities between Mohan and Vasu, Aai€™s discomfort is visible. She tries to answer him confidently, but it is obvious that she is hiding something. And her behaviour with Sridhar Vaidya, who is trying to uncover the truth, is a red flag too.
Vasu€™s antics- Sridhar Vaidya, who is nearly convinced that Mohan and Vasu are deeply connected, noticed the uncanny resemblance between Mohan and Vasu€™s way of pushing back his hair. Similarly, even we have noticed that Vasu€™s way of talking to people and calling them is like Mohan€™s, even though the language has gone from Hindi to Marathi.
Love for Megha- It hasn€™t been too long since Megha came to live in the chawl and encountered Vasu for the first time. And after he got over the initial hatred, Vasu has been attracted to Megha in a strange way, and has also professed his love for her. Rimjhim€™s instinct €" They say that children have better instincts that are not clouded by prejudice. And Rimjhim has been calling Vasu €˜Paapu€™ from the time she first laid eyes on him. It may be wishful thinking, but we think that if she thinks he€™s Mohan inspite of his language, behaviour and changed name, she may have a point.
Facts- Aai can scream herself hoarse that Vasu is her son, but there are some facts that she can€™t ignore. The fact that Vasu doesn€™t have any documents from two years before, or the fact that childhood Vasu was a leftie and the grown up one is a right handed. Small facts, but they might be pieces of a bigger puzzle.
