Don't you guys think QH should address dowry practice in India in one of its tracks. I would love to watch Haseena bi being taught a good lesson for expecting dowry. Dowry is such a bad social practice despite being flagged as crime is still largely prevalent and root cause for other bad social practices such as female feticide, treating girl child as burden and money is saved by limited income parents for their wedding instead of their education, bride's family is not kept on same pedestal as groom's family in a wedding scenario and much more.
One dialogue by Nikhat when she broke the engagement was worth applauding ' ab yeh rishta hoga tho Barabar ka hoga' but that apart all characters including Asad were potrayed as succumbing to this age old bad dowry practice. Some dialogues of Razia are so degrading to girls like hum ladkiwale hai aisa hote rahete hai.
It is high time a show like QH should use its popularity to send a right social message to discourage dowry practice...don't you agree?
