Don't you guys think QH should address dowry practice in India in one of its tracks. I would love to watch Haseena bi being taught a good lesson for expecting dowry. Dowry is such a bad social practice despite being flagged as crime is still largely prevalent and root cause for other bad social practices such as female feticide, treating girl child as burden and money is saved by limited income parents for their wedding instead of their education, bride's family is not kept on same pedestal as groom's family in a wedding scenario and much more.

One dialogue by Nikhat when she broke the engagement was worth applauding ' ab yeh rishta hoga tho Barabar ka hoga' but that apart all characters including Asad were potrayed as succumbing to this age old bad dowry practice. Some dialogues of Razia are so degrading to girls like hum ladkiwale hai aisa hote rahete hai.

It is high time a show like QH should use its popularity to send a right social message to discourage dowry practice...don't you agree?

Now that they are anyway going towards Najma-imran wedding, I want Asad/Dilshaad to stand up against Haseena's greedy wishes. I am actually looking forward to see how haseena behaves now and how imran handles his mom and how khan family takes it.
If they show Asad agreeing to all haseena's demands for Najma's sake, I would be utterly disappointed. With Nikhat, he had no choice because not much was in his hands to control but now its different. Lets see.

well said... i'm really expecting that toad face to create a scene in KM like how she behaved in SM and i'm really looking forward how Asad, Zoya and Dilshad react to that and yea how is our tamatar gonna react😆

Yest i read yur post on Zoya from my phone but couldnt comment that time, yur post was BANG ON 👏 couldnt find that thread today thatswhy commented about that here😃

Right through the Haseena's track of demanding monetary favours I was wondering why this was not being highlighted- it really needs to be addressed and in a very strong manner.

Excellent point. I would love to see a dowry track where Haseena Bi or the likes of her are unmasked and publicly humiliated for their demand. Unfortunately daily serials don't have any teeth where issues like this is concerned. One thing to consider is that Haseena Bi was able to extort from Rashid and family as she played upon their fears of Nikhat not getting a suitor due to her complexion. She knew their concerns. She may try something similar with Najma stating that she is the offspring of an abandoned woman but I would like to think that both Dilshad, Asad and Najma would be in their senses to make a stand.

Thanks. It happens all the time with me, I want to re-visit some posts and can't find them after couple of hours :) ...I wish there is a search button option to search by user name or subject 😊 .
