Double standards of a shahenshah or the mom ?

Isn't it true that one of Jalal's begum got pregnant by someone and on the request of his mom Jalal changed his decision and let them free ?
I'm sure that person had definitely entered the harem, may be even more than once.

So now his mom says that she wouldn't go against a shahenshah's decision ? Wouldn't even talk to him for Jodha ?

And Jalal what type of punishment is this ? Death sentence ? Even the letter doesn't say anything clear that the person was called there by moti. When even moti says she didn't call him there, isn't it a King's responsibility to do further investigation before giving such a harsh punishment ?

I can see where your coming from, however Hamida stopped Jalal because the woman was indeed pregnant and if he killed her then Jalal would be cursed and childless

Hamida also isn't very high on the list of importance for Jalal, he listened to her the first time because it was something bad that was going to happen to him. This time moti bai's death isn't going to Hurt him

I guess back in the day they didn't realize that "there is more then meets the eye" I guess that's how they differentiated between the guilty and the innocent

Yah I agree double standards for sure..hence why I hinted that they can't differentiate between guilty and innocence at all

jalal's mom even said nazar band kaidi se tum nahi mil sakti ho jodha ..she said she doesn't interfere in siyasi mamla as autumn_rose said two case r diff.

I think I should've clarified this in my post , I understand the other lady was pregnant , but what about the guy who got her pregnant. Even he was not given any punishment ( forget about death sentence )

And Jalal's mom should've atleast tried to talk to Jalal , not to forgive moti but to investigate the matter further or something on Jodhas request. How can she say that she doesn't speak in these matters when she has actually done that before.
Just my POV that this part shows even Jalal's mom in bad light who's supposed to be a nicer and just person.

Moti is lady ...and she don not have kids...

I think the guy who got into a relationship with one of jalal's begum never entered the harem or else he could have been caught by someone anyday. I feel the lady met outside the harem and hence no one noticed it.. Moreover here moti is accusing adham,but earlier she kept her mouth shut when jalal himself interogated about it, she doesn't has any proof and no one noticed adham.. Overall she is a maid who is accusing jalal's foster brother without enough proof..And still jalal investigated into the matter,he sent horse riders to mathura . now everything is against moti.. shahensha is enough fare,he even asked her in private to say the truth and promised her about minimum punishment.. no double standerd.
