I have been a big fan of sriti from dhoom machao dhoom time. One thing i have noticed that sriti has mostly got roles in which she has to potray a highly supressed and underconfident girl's role. Either it be role of malini in dhoom machao dhoom or be it sudha's role in jyoti. In saubhagyavati bhav she did her best as abla nari. And now in balika vadhu same thing happened. But sriti is a great actress she always acts according to need of character and gives a new life to them

You are right, almost all her characters have had that suppressed girl hidden somewhere in it, but she has also played diametrically opposite roles in the same show as well. And its never been the same in each show.
In Jyoti she played the very suppressed and introverted Sudha who is so bogged down by her childhood trauma and bad treatment by her family (with the exception of her sister) that she starts to suffer from Multiple Personality Disorder and wakes up as the ultra-glam and bold Devika. Regretfully I was only able to watch very few of her scenes in Jyoti but all the scenes of Sudha turning into Devika and vice-versa were amazing and at the same time creepy to watch! Sudha/Devika was just mindblowing and its still considered one of her best performances in her career.
In Rakt Sambandh, Sandhya was only helpless because of the fact that she was blind and her husband and in-laws just shamelessly exploited her disability. But of course all those who saw her transformation after she gets her eyesight back, will never forget her tapori character, Vrinda in it 👏! She was awesome and actually showed a great flair for comedy 😆. It remains to date my most favorite character of Sriti's so far ⭐️!
The less said about Saubhagyavati Bhava the better, the PH/CVs completely destroyed Jhanvi/Sia's characterization just for the sake of glorifying evil 🤢. Will never forgive them for messing up such a powerful character with so much potential 🤬. But as always she did complete justice to her role and did a brilliant job, especially as Jhanvi which has to be her one performance which ended up being emotionally draining even for the audience seeing her plight 😭.
Honestly I had so much of hope for Ganga, especially with that explosive entry of hers in BV but again unfortunately the CVs did an about-turn and turned her into another abla nari 😡!
But we have to admit, she has a knack for being so realistic in her performances that it appears so natural and convincing as if she is really suffering that we automatically start to feel for her.
But I hope she takes up something more positive and uplifting next or else she will risk getting typecast. Even as a fan I must confess somewhere even I'm getting fed up of these deja vu roles and tracks 😒.

by positive and uplifting, you mean girl next door types.. 🤢 timid docile bahu 🤢 or mahaan, unconditional lover/wife, cook, bahu, mother... ?? 🤢

Agree.
Her role in BV turned into a helpless woman for ever crying.

Ganga's character seemed to have lot of fire and I expected to see a spirited proud woman trying to rebuild her life don't know why CVs did this to her character and turned her into weak clingy woman crying all the time.

I hope this Mangalore track will be used to undo the damage to her character.

TM You are only refering for her 3 rolls Sudha, Jahnvi and you think Ganga and Malini are also timid (I desagree) wat about Sunaina of Jiya Jale? Princess Suhani of Shaurya aur Suhani? Devika of Jyoti? Blind but Smart Sandhya and then Tapori Vrinda of RS? I dont knw any other actress in TV who plays so diffrent characters lyk Sriti playd in her currier...Malini was just a shoft hearted shy natured shcool girl. Her father was very strict about tradition so she was little scard of him their...and sorry Ganga is not timid or dari sehmi at all. She is a very courrageous girl, she fought in all her lyf. As balikavadhu Ganga is an inspirational character. But cvs should give her more strong position.

LOL I don't find Ganga as darri sehmi at all..she's fiery but she's vulnerable too...she shed some tears for the man who saved her and turned her life around, and the place she grew to love and leaving it behind hurt her as it would hurt anyone with some feelings and emotions, but I bet she will do great in Mangalore, no doubt she will be a wonderful nurse...I love her self respect and her ability to be honest even if her opinion pisses ppl like Sumitra off...she has the courage to put her feelings aside and then do what DS said to her...she seems like a very wholesome individual, at times she is very bubbly and childlike but then also full of courage and bravery...for someone who was raped, abused, hated, scorned and loathed for most of her life, I think she turned out pretty good. Sriti is doing a marvelous job here...not darri sehmi at all.
