Irrfan will soon be seen in Ritesh Batra's Lunchbox. The film is a sweet love story releasing on Sept 20 that showcases Irrfan's soft and sweet side. The film essentially is about a love story that develops as an outcome of letters exchanged through a lunch dabba.
The dabbawalas of Mumbai are focused on quite prominently in the film as they are ones responsible for delivering the dabbas and in turn the letters. As an outcome of their prominence, Irrfan has decided and is keen to explore a special engagement with the dabbawalas. He is keen on spending time and interacting with them as part of the Lunchbox promotions.
In addition, he also plans on speaking to the dabbawalas association to have special hand written notes sent in the dabbas that will be sharing sweet thoughts from the film, encouraging people to watch the film.He will be signing off as himself and will have the film name and release date at the footer of the letter.
