Why did Raj marry Sarita?

I started watching this show recently, thus I don't have all the background information for this show.

I know Raj loves Divya. Why did he marry Sarita then? I am also curious as to why Sarita loves Raj?

bur as u know love is crazy stupid and you never know whenabd how you fall in love
and Divya left raj and went to mumbai coz she chose family responsibilties over love and Raj married sarita under fatjers pressure

Sarita is like nay opther woman out there who wants her marriage to work out :) i know it seems stupid..bt yes this is really how a woman has to tackle things in a marriage .. bt when she got that nothing wld change this,she decided to get remarried :/& Raj is a coward in clear language who never had the courage to love his wife!!!

I think (if memory serves, and it seems to be failing as of late😉) that Raj's father told him Raj he would kill himself if he did not agree to the marriage.
