Ranveer is apparently unhappy with the way he's being portrayed by Dippy's camp.
All is not well between Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. And apparently it all began when Ranveer refused to play the 'furtive lover'.
According to reports, Ranveer has been following Deepika everywhere --be it Wai or Dubai or on the sets of Mumbai studios.
The recent incident happened during the last day's shoot of Chennai Express. Deepika was shooting Lungi Dance with Shah Rukh Khan. As soon as Rohit Shetty announced a wrap, the Lootera actor almost magically appeared on the sets, apparently to the dismay of SRK's heroine.
However, the way these reports have been making their way to the media, painting Ranveer as an obsessed lover, has not gone down too well with the actor. And finally he has decided to put his foot down.
A source close to the actor said: "There are reasons to believe that the actress is planting these stories in the media. When Deepika visits Ranveer on the sets of his films, there is hardly any noise about it. Why is Ranveer always portrayed in such poor light? It takes two to tango. How can Ranveer just land up on her sets repeatedly without her consent?"
Mirror has it that Ranveer has even questioned Deepika on this, and every time his query has met with a standard reply: 'My enemies are doing this to you'.
But the source points out, "If Deepika's enemies were indeed the culprits, they would target Deepika and not Ranveer."
Although the actor is apparently spitting fire, with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela set for a November release, it might not be the right time for the lead pair to get into a public confrontation.
At the time of going to press, a friend of Deepika Padukone called to say that she is completely focused on her career and as a policy she will not talk about her private life.
