The atmosphere is so pleasant these days as its Monsoon! The black clouds, the windy breeze, the aroma of mud, the greenery of trees and the showers from the sky makes us fall in love with the season of Monsoon. We all love to enjoy monsoon in our ways and like all of us; our Telly actors also enjoy having fun during monsoon.
TellyBuzz got in touch with the pretty and bubbly actress Rati Pandey who was recently seen playing the character of Indira in Zee TV's popular show Hitler Didi to know more about her Monsoon masti and her memories related to monsoon.
Let's see what Rati has to share with us.
Rainy season for me is:
I have enjoyed the rainy season in Mumbai because in Patna, it never rains like this. I have never loved rains because of the water loggings and mud which stops us to move out but I started loving it in Mumbai because the weather is so pleasant that you tend to eat so many things like Pakoras with tea and watching the rains from the window. Rainy season for me is fun; sitting at home and chilling out with friends for a long drive. I am not in love with rainy season that much; I love winters.
Precautions I take during monsoon:
I avoid wearing heels during rainy season. I prefer wearing slippers and short dress during rainy season. I am cautious enough about the rains that I always carry an umbrella along with me. I always have an umbrella in my car. I also use waterproof stuffs including waterproof purses. I am very conscious about my health and being a hygiene conscious person, I avoid eating outside food and one should also avoid having sea food.
Your monsoon related memories:
I started enjoying Monsoon with my friends only when I came to Mumbai. My friends used to take me out for long drive to places like Lonavala and Panchgani in Sunroof cars and we used to get out and get wet, enjoying the scenic view. We used to enjoy a lot and they all made me realize that 'Monsoon itna fun bhi ho sakta hai (laughs).' I enjoy getting wet in the first drizzle of rains and I do this every year.
My likes and dislikes about monsoon:
I don't like water logging and mud on the roads, traffic jam and shooting outdoor daily during rains because it always rains when we are doing outdoor shoots. We also can't go out of our house when it rains heavily. I like sitting at home, watching rains, sipping hot tea or coffee and having pakoras by calling my friends at home and enjoying the nice view from my home.
Favorite place to visit during monsoon:
I generally hangout at my home only. My favorite place is my home and I also like to visit Panchgani quite often.
Things I must carry during monsoon:
Umbrella and waterproof stuffs. I prefer to wear cotton clothes, Capris and waterproof shoes or slippers.
My favorite monsoon music:
Tip Tip Barsa Pani' Baarish ke time yeh gaana laga lo, maza aa jaata hai (chuckles). I love this song.
My monsoon special food:
Pakoda with tea or coffee.
A moment when I enjoyed with my co-stars:
It was during Miley Jab Hum Tum when we shot for our first rain sequence on the song Khuda Jaane. I cannot forget the shooting as it was shot so nicely that I enjoyed it a lot. It will always remain as a nice memorable experience for me.
Monsoon tips for readers:
Always carry an umbrella, avoid eating outside and oily food. During monsoon we tend to drink less water but we should drink plenty of water in all seasons. Avoid having non-veg food during monsoon and exercise daily for a good health.
