TOI: Savitri Is NOT Going Off Air - Saaket Sawhney

Flying Turtles' Savitri on Life OK going off air within a months time recently made headline in certain section of media.

However, our reliable source informs that the channel is in no mood to pull the show in the near future.


Credible source says, "Savitri recently went under revamp, wherein Ashish Kapoor and many known names were brought in by the makers to spice up the storyline. On the other hand, the channel is equipped with the next three months story line in advance so there is no harm to the show for at least next few months. The story will now put focus on Veer (Ashish Kapoor) and Damiyanti's ( Riddhi Dogra) love story."

TOI had earlier reported about Beyond Dream's Junoon to bid adieu to the channel soon and accordingly the upcoming BBC Production's next Ek Dhoond Ishqiya will probably take the respective time slot.

When contacted, Saket Saawhney, co producer of show along with Shabbir Ahluwalia and Anil V Kumar, stated, "No, Savitri is not going off air. The buzz is just a rumour and nothing else."
