we had many trained dancers in the show past seasons

Madhuri maybe meant the Non Dancers are slowly growing and giving competition to the established dancers.

the kids have no right to be in JDJ... As this is the celebs show so kids are not any celebrity yet...!!! Nd they had won the IGT cup allready and from the same channel so it doesnt make any sense dat the kids should participate in jhalak...!!! And Lauren is allready a winner dancer so it also dont make any sense to have a competition between dancers and non dancers... It should be either non dancer show or only professional dancers show...!!! I completely disagree wid d presence of kids nd lauren from d frst episode... PS:- its not dat i dont like kids nd lauren... I love them and seriously they are AMAZING...!!!!

where did you get that this was a show for celebrity non-dancers. it's a celebrity dance show. why would the production house pay the celebs to teach them how to dance. absurd.
and if it is meant for non-dancers, then I think the only dancers to qualify for this show would be siddharth, shreeshant ( hope that's his name) and suresh mennon .

if JDJ is about non dancers turning dancers then Sid should win the trophy? 🤔

a non dancer who is a famous celeb will get more votes from their fans, even if they don't perform well ! a good dancer getting less votes may get eliminated even if they are performing superbly...

Pro Dancer: One who earns/earned money through dancing as a profession. That's how a Pro sports person is defined in Atheletics, Golf, BasketBall, Boxing or any other sports for that matter.

Trained Dancer: One Who has a Formal training and holds a paper of proof.

In that sense, Remo is not a trained Dancer, but he could be a pro dancer. Similarly if Drashti is Dancing in award functions and shows against money, she is a professional dancer, may not be a trained dancer.

Either way, both group should get the same treatment as a dancer.

The show was never about non dancers ... It was about celebrities from different walks of life ... and thus anyone can come to compete...

people who say that from where did we get the idea that its for non.dancers must watch the advertising promos of jdj. the song was "unhoni ko honi kar da" and judges said we will tell what the dance is...so whats unhoni in bringing the professional and trained dancers on dance floor and making them dance ..unhoni i think is that bring a non.dancer and see how he/she evolved well...i m not favoring any 1 ...but its not the logic to bring a dancer who knows more about dance then judges and competing them with those who dont even know to move legs...or some average dancers are just to create confusion sometime good and some time bad...its obvious that a trained dancer will always perform well and a non or average dancer will definitely do mistakes..so i think this show failed concept wise...it should be for dancers or for non dancers, or average dancers...bringing them all together just increase the tension level for dancers as well as for viewers...

That's exactly how I feel too...No matter whether you are trained or not, if you dance anywhere, you are a dancer..Moreover, if Celebs who are not confident of themselves performing on the stage with other Celebs who are pros, the former should have withdrawn / not taken part in the competition in the first place...Why crying now??

This is a competition and everyone is here to win...Whoever performs (or should I say dances, coz I find dancing at a minimum these days) best, should win...However, I for one, have no idea what the Channel has in store for us..Lets wait and watch...

@ TM, I highly doubt JDJ is all about celebs who know nothing of dancing, I will explain why-

1.S&S (kids)- They are dancing pros as you mentioned.

2.Lauren- She is a dancing diva...

3. Mukti- She is a well known Indian dancer

4. Sana- She has been trained in multiple dance forms since childhood

5. Drashti- She has been trained in dance since childhood

6. Karanveer- He has been trained in multiple dance forms since childhood

7. Aarti- She has been trained in multiple dance forms since childhood

8. Ekta- She has been trained in dance since childhood

9. Karan patel- He was trained in dance in adulthood

10. Shweta Tiwari- She has been trained in multiple dance forms since childhood

So apparently, it was only Srikant, Suresh Menon, Meghna Malik, Shaan, Sid and Mantra who have had minimal exposure to any sort of dance training in the past. So according to your theories, we should have held a competition between these 6...😊
