Savitri to go off air :(

Lots of shows are being pulled off-air making way for the new ones. Another popular show which was recently revamped by introducing new characters in the show is all set to bid adieu.

Flying Turtle Films' Savitri which recently had undergone a revamp introducing Ashish Kapoor as the lead opposite Ridhi Dogra Vashisth, will soon be going off-air.

Our source says, "The show is being pulled off-air within a month and BBC Worldwide's upcoming show Ek Boond Ishqiya will be the filler for vacant time slot of Savitri."

The article doesn't make sense because:

1. They just had a revamp with many new characters why would a channel bear a cost like that if the show was to be puled offair in 2 months

2. There was no fall in TRPs after the revamp infact the show is 2nd best fiction show on Lifeok in terms of TRPs

3.Who is this source btw? Let's wait for a confirmation from someone from the channel or production house

It has the second best in the daily shows. There are other shows too with much less TRPs.

Exactly. Its come as a shock. There were articles about other shows on the channel going off air but Savitri was never mentioned.
