I watched the film today!! It was not bad at all, it was pretty good!! I agree with the reviewers who have chosen John-Vidya, and Govinda-Shannon among the best storylines, I would add Salman and Priyanka's to the mix, I enjoyed theirs too. Akshaye-Ayesha's storyline is not bad either. However, I was disappointed with Sohail-Isha and Anil-Juhi's storylines. The songs are enjoyable to watch, Saiyyan Re, Salaam E Ishq and Tenu have been choreographed and picturized beautifully!!

Performance wise: Vidya is really good as is John, they share amazing chemistry on screen! Shannon is impressive, I like when she tries to speak Hindi, it was a good effort and didn't sound bad at all. Govinda was also enjoyable to watch as was Akshaye. Ayesha looks beautiful and acts her part well. Salman was good, I don't know why reviewers were talking about an accent, I didn't notice one! I enjoyed him in the film. I will admit though, with Priyanka in the beginning she wasn't doing well performance wise but then she began to loosen up and did much better throughout the film.

With Juhi-Anil-Anjana it had nothing to do with performances because all of them performed well, it's just that their storyline wasn't that interesting compared to the rest (wasn't as exciting). As for Sohail-Isha, they weren't bad, they tried their best but again their storyline wasn't as exciting nor did it really grab my attention except for a few comical scenes.

Overall I enjoyed the film, IMO it is worth a watch.

Just watched it yesterday,this is what I think!

Salaam-E-Ishq may not be the best movie,but its good.I liked it!

1.John-Vidya were fantastic.Their story was quite emotional.Sadly,you dont get to see much of them.I was disappointed by that as I was really looking forward to them.Loved them two,excellent!!Vidya looked very beautiful and John looked hot.Sure they didnt have the best dress sense but their clothes were shown to what they could afford,still Vidya looks pretty in anything!

2.Govinda.His story was funnny.I cant believe I actually liked him in this movie.In Bhagam Bhag I couldnt stand him but he did a good job here.The white girl,I must say I'm impressed.She was good,and the way she tried to speak Hindi oh god was damn funny.

3.Anil Kapoor-Juhi.BORING! Too much of Anil,but he was funny at times.

4.Salman-Priyanka BORING aswell,their story was not needed and made no sense.

5.Akshay-Ayesha.Hehe Akshay was good.Nice story,Ayesha didnt have much.The poor girl just suffers in the movie.

6.Sohail-Isha.My other favourite after John-Vidya.They were HILARIOUS!!!!Again,like John-Vidya they didnt have a huge part.That sucks,the two couples who were the best you dont see much of them!!

Scenes I liked the most

1.You see Vidya getting up in the morning,after her accident.John comes to her,and she says,you were scared werent you.Then she tells him you should find some other girl,because what if something happens to me and first John says SHUT UP but then agrees lol.Then awww they show it was a flashback,they show the present with John by Vidya's side in the hospital.

2.John takes Vidya to his parents and tells his dad to hate Vidya,emotional.

3.ALL Sohail-Isha scenes.The car accident was really funny.They try to romance and the car starts by mistake,and the car lands on their new house.Then both of them are shown in hospital lol Right at the end too,the train scene was funny!

4.Most Akshay scenes were very good.

5.Also most Govinda-White girl scenes were funny.

6.After Vidya's 2nd accident,she tells John to leave her.John tells her I only want you.

7.The very last scene,Ayesha's wedding.Nearly everyone comes there and stops it!!

Scenes I didnt get

When Akshay is driving,he accidentally hits Vidya.Then picks her up,puts her in his car and starts to slowly admire her hair lovingly :huh:

At the end when they show Vidya saying the same things which John had said to her at the beginning,I dont understand if she got her memory back or not.

I didnt get even one scene of Salman-Priyanka!

When John is told that some injured passengers are found at a NEARBY VILLAGE then he runs out of the hospital,runs for 2 seconds and finds Vidya.How does he get to the village so quickly?

Salaam-E-Ishq title song:LOVELY!!It has a lil scene of John-Vidya which is really sad and emotional,made me cry!!All couples are happy dancing and singing,nice.

Tenu Leke:Nice song on Salman-Priyanka.Enjoyable!

Ya Rabba:Okay,sad song!

Unfortunately my favourite Mera Dil is not included in the movie.It was cut off!!!


Overall,I enjoyed it.John-Vidya,Sohail-Isha and Govinda-White girl are clearly the BEST.It was kinda long,4 hours but its ok! John-Vidya and Sohail-Isha SHOULD HAVE HAD MORE TO DO!!!!!!!!!

my mom watched the movie today and she liked it .. the only person she didnt like was priyanka .. thats cuz she just doesnt like her ... other than that .. she said the movie was good!😃

too bad i didnt get to go .. but i mite try to go next weekend.😃

During the promos, I was excited to watch the movie. But after watching the movie i am very disappointed. I don't understand what salman was doing in the movie 😕 He's such a brilliant actor and he deserves a good and way better story than what he had. Salman has the style, attitude but no story, i guess he signed the movie as a favor. Priyanka was good in the second half. I think john-vidya were the best couple and had the better story. I loved their chemistry, there romance was so natural. i loved govinda shannon, govinda was hillarious 😆 and akshaye-ayesha were good too. But juhi-anil and sohail-isha were really bad. I just wished juhi would had slapped anil 😡 first he is lying to juhi and then yells at her

I had no expectations from john but he really surprised me by actually acting. I loved the music, i also think the directions were missing till the climax or should i say director was only interested in govinda-shannon, john-vidya, akshaye-ayesha pairing? 😕 Nikhil advani made kal ho na ho so beautiful but in SEI, stories were missing and that's where the movie disappointed. Watch it for Govinda-Shanon,Akshaye-Ayesha and john-vidya.

The movi was good but i think Sohail-Isha werent neeeded but they were still funny but not connected to the main story, Govinda-Shannon, John-Vidya,Akshya-Aysha were clearly the best storories, not sdaying the others weren't good but these three were outstanding and the mjusic/picturisation of the movie was just brilliant-its a feel good movie that you will love
