However after this filler of a 45 min maha episode...I"m so disappointed.
the interaction between Ruqaiya and Jodha...so predictable. They could do something different with this storyline as opposed to the entirely predictable, R being rude to J and J rebuffing her in eloquent fashion...personally that scene just didn't do it for me although Jodha's line delivery about young children handling crocodiles...nice one! 👏
Then the nikah...I would have LOVED to have seen more on this, partly because I have no idea what an islamic wedding even entails...missed opportunity there IMO...
The dancers - this was ok, but didn't hold my interest for how long it was. I got bored.
And then Jodha's singing, it was so close to the end of the episode, and her dream sequence was excellent, but seriously would Jodha dream of Jalal at all...I found this again to be somewhat sllly...
She is supposed to be indifferent to him isn't she? So then after singing the song, why would she be afraid of how he was going to act with her...doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
And the last stupid scene with Ruqaiya entering her bedroom...This is just so lame...doesn't Jodha have protection...so how can just any other lady just enter her sleeping quarters. Its incredibly rude to begin with for Ruqaiya and I just don't see why it was necessary.
And to top it all off...they have turned Ruqiaya's character into NOTHING...she is now just another villain in the story line with no depth and kind of an irritating voice and mannerisms. Compared to Jodha whose voice is calm and slightly deeper, Ruqiaya just has a prissy voice that grates on my nerves.
The precap - the less said the better...what a terrible disappointment. Who else is looking forward to Monday's episode. I'm going to watch, but definitely not waiting breathlessly like we all were last weekend.
Overall - what a let down.
