(Happens in the west a lot). So in those cases it cannot be guaranteed that the siblings will get to stay together.
Even the Ranveera case is similar. Since Ranvi is a minor, even though he is a blood relative of Veera, he has no legal claim over her. The only person who does is Sampooran, who is not in the picture. Therefore the next right goes to the mum's parents. (Sampooran's parents are dead). IF they were there they could have fought for custody too.
