Which Mythological story would you like to see on the silver screen..I wonder why ramayan and mahabharata never got bollywoodized..Personally I would love to see a film on the life of lord shiva and his consorts-sati and parvati..its an epic love story..

I would love to see a movie on the life of Chaitanya mahaprabhu or Adi Shankar. They're not Gods but avtar and it would be wonderful to see stories on them. Like South makes.

Having said that, I don't think Bollywood that's making "ras leela" and "radha" kind of songs is capable of making the right mytho movie with the right story and all. People don't even know what raas leela is actually. On this forum itself, I see people equating raas leela with gopis around Lord Krishna which is rather silly. The person I trust would be Aamir but don't know if he will have the time as he himself said it will take him 20 years for research, lol.

aamir khan was supposed to play karan in b r chopra's mahabharata..salman krishna and srk arjun..😆

Hum Saath Saath Hain was partially based on Ramayan. Considering, Ram was Monish Behl, Bharat was Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan was Lakshman, Reema Lagoo was KayKaye and Alok Nath was Raja Dashrath

Would love to see Mahabharat or something based on Saraswati & Lakshmi + Vishnu
