Anger,anguish,longingness,fear.It was tough to fanthom which emotion was running high in her.and the the all encompassing love she had for this one man has always managed to evoke strange and extreme emotions in her always.But there was an unexplicable urge in her to let it all out,to scream at him,all those days and nights she has longed to hear his voice,to see him,the fear of losing him and finally after so many days when he was here with her,she wanted nothing except to be with him and cherish their togetherness but it seems today Arnav Singh Raizada needed to hear some truths.

'Khushi tum,we will talk later,you rest now,tumhe dard ho raha hai(Khushi!we will talk later,you need to rest now).Arnav spoke as he noticed her palm.

'Nahi Mr Raizada,hum abhi baat karenge'(No,Mr Raizada we will talk now only).She went ahead and latched the door shut,puuled the curtains of the poolside and tirning towards him spoke straight looking into hie eyes.

'Toh kya keh rahe the aap,ki hum kitna dard sahenge aapki wajah se,bilkul sahi keh rahe hai aap bahut kuch saha humne aapki wajah se'(What did you said that I have suffered a lot of pain because of you then you are damn right I have).

He has spoken those words himself still Khushi admitting them alod bore a hole in his heart but before he could launch onto his self loathing,her next words stunned him.

'Akele hone ka dard, logoin ke beech hokar bhi tanha mehsoos karna,aapki awaaz na sun paana,har chiz ka aapki yaad dilana,yeh kamra,paudhe yahan tak ki jalebiyaan bhi.sab kuch sirf aapki yaad dilati thipal pal pagal ho rahe the hum,yeh sochke ki aap kaise hai,thik to hai,muskarane ki koshish karna par muskara na paana,aapki awaaz sunne ke liye,aapko dekhne ke liye,kitni baar humein laga aap yahaan hai,hemein dekh rahe hai,aap kyun chale gaye the Arnavji,bataiye humein,humne kitni baar roka aapko par aap phir bhi chale gaye ur yeh sab ho gaya,aap ko andaza ki itne dim hum,us raat jab aap hamare saath the to humein andhere se bhi dar nahi laga tha,aapko yahaan hina chahiye tha hamare saath hum kitna dar gaye the.(The pain of being all alone,being amidst people and yet feeling lost,not being able to hear your voice,everything screaming at me about you,this room,those plants even the jalebis,I was going mad,my eyes sought your face everywhere,how many times did I felt you are here looking at me,do you know how its is when I wanted to smile but I couldn't because you were not there,I stopped you so many times but you didn't stopped why Arnavji).Khushi almost screamed at the end.

He has heard frome everyone how Khushi has been in his absence,but her admittance in fromt of him recreated the pain he has felt all those days when he was away from her,every waking moment it was her who has occupied his mind and heart,his love for her that has made him wanted to come back to her.Her question of why has he left inspite of her repeated pleads,he wanted to answer her that he would have lest he wouldn't have been kidnapped but he would tell her this now.

'Khushi,us din jab tumne mujhe roka,main do baar waapis aaya tha,haan main chala gaya tha lekin tumhara chehra tumhari baatein unhone mujhe rok liya tha Khushi,I believed you ,my heart did and I would have returned back to you agar who sab us din nahi hua hota'.(Khushi that day when you stopped me,I had come back twice because I desperately wanted to trust you,yes I went away but I would have returned back lest I hadn't been kidnapped,your face,the words,those eyes ,I believed you Khushi ).He spoke with utmost honesty.{This its what I feel,if you see that scene,the moment when he closes his eyes and turns back,his heart has won over his minds,but yes its only my feeling,you can chose to ignore it).

Khushi could see the truth mirrored in his eyes,those eyes that were a reflection to his soul which has always told her a different story,that made her trust him and not the words he sometimes spoke in haste.She spoke to herself but Arnav listened her murmuring.

'Lekin galti hamari thi,yeh sab hamari wajah se hi to hua'(But it was my mistake,it happened because of me only).

'Khushi pagal ho gay ho tum,kya bole jaa rahi ho'(Khushi have you gone mad,what are you ssaying).He spoke shocked at the absurdity of her thoughts.

'Hum sach keh rahe hai Arnavji kyunki woh kabhi aisa nahi kartey ager unke paas aapke sign ki hue documents nahi hotey'.(I am sayig the truth because he wont have don't anything like that if he hadn't had the documents signed by you).Khushi answered.

'Jis din aap jaa rahe the,usi din humne aapse jo documents sign karwaye the,unhone hamare saamne shart rakhi thi ki agar hum aisa karenge to woh aapko aakey saari sachayi bata denge ,us din airport par hum unhi ko aapse milwana chahte the par hum bhi kitne bade pagal hai jo us insaan pe vishwas kiya.(The day you were leaving,the documents that you signed it has those papers too ,he has put forth a condition that if I do that then he will come and tell you the entire truth himself).

Rage filled his entire form as Khushi told him about the deceit that Shyam Manohar Jha has done.She has believed him and he has taken benefit of her innocence.That man,how could he forget the words he has spoken to him on the day of Aakash wedding.He diverted his attention to Khushi who shuttered a bit as she spok staring at their entwined hands.

'Humein maaf kar dijiye Arnavi,agar us waqt hum aisa nah kartey to aisa kuch bhi nahi hota,lekin hum tab kuch soch hi nahi paa rahe the, hum yeh she hi nahi paa rah the ki aap hamare baarein min aisi soche,ki humein aapke aur di ke saath aisa kar sakte hai,yeh humse bardaasht nahi ho raha tha'.(I am really sorry Arnavji,if I hadn't done it that time then nothing wrong would have happened,but then I wasn't able to think anything,the thought that you had such an impression of me was killing me from inside,the fact you can actually believe I can do something like this to you and Di,it was impossible to bare).

His heart breaking at every word she spoke,wasn't he the one who has forced her to take help of that snake and here she was apologizing for a mistake she has not done at all.Arnav cupped Khushis cheek with his free hand and made her look at him and said firmly.

'Khushi,tumhe maafi maangne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai,ismein tumhari koi galti thi hi nahi,agar maine aisa behave nahi kiya hota to tumhe yeh sab kabhi karna hi nahi padta'.(Khushi you don't need to apologise,there was no mistake of yours,if I hadn't done all that then the need of you doing all this wouldn't have arisen in the first place).

Khushi was about to contradict him but seeing his stance,she started telling him about how she has been restless since he has left,her checking the clock every now and then,how she has woken up everyone that night as she was panicking,the message she has received,her doubts regarding it,how thw documents has gone missing from where she has hidden them,her suspictions on Shyam.Naniji and Di plan to send her to London as she was all lost andupset without him.The phone call she has received,her coming back home,her not being able to get any trace of him,everyone getting worried but at that niche of time his phone call which has assured everyone that he was all fine.

The entire time Khushi spoke Arnav has remained quiet,listening to her intently,his mind absorbing everything she said and on the other hand his heart who ached for all that she has gone through,he has been restless,the time he has spend in that warehouse,it was only her thoughts that has surrounded him.It was as if his entire existence was wrapped around her being.The mention of the phone call,he knew there was more than what she has just said but seeing the toll it was taking on her to once again go through all that,he decided to leave it for a bit.

Urging her to continue ,he sat there offering his silent support as Khushi recited about her going to hire detectives,mamiji coming to know about it and her confirming to Mamiji her doubts.How has she been there with throughout ,their sneaking up to get hold of the footage,they have seen him being taken by those guys,the absence of any ransom call confirming their doubts that something was amiss,how have they gone to find out about his medicines which were available only at special places which has finally led to their unexpected meet.She told him about how has she recognized that man and has followed him which has led her to him,she was so lost in telling that she failed to notice how he has shut his eyes to let go of the ache he had felt when he has come to know she has gotten hurt due to him.

As he opened his eyes he noticed her hold on his hand tightening,shaking her slightly he called out to her 'Khushi'.Not paying any heed to the concern she saw in those mesmerizing eyes,she spoke straightly.

'Aapne aisa kyun kiya tha Arnavji'.(Why you did this Arnavji).

Not getting any clue of what she was on about he asked shocked 'What'.

'What kya Arnavji,har chiz hamesha aapke hisaab se honi chahiye naa chahe saamne waale insaan ko kaisa bhi lagey,humne aapse kaha tha ki hum khidki se bhaag sakte hai,hum aapko takleef mein nahi dekh sakte the,par phir bhi aapne hamari nahi suni,aap chale gaye humein akela chodke'(What what Arnavji,everything has to be according to you without caring about the feelings of the other person involved,I had told you we can runa way through the window,I repeated that I cant bare to see you in pain yet you left with them leaving me alone).She said in one breath as tears made out of her eyes,she knew he has handed over himself willingly to kidnappers for her sake,yet she couldn't stop telling him this,how could she ever explain what she has felt when sh has woken up to find he has gone missing again.

Her words sunked in,what was she thinking,here he was already going through the gult of hurting her that day,and she was thinking this,she needed to understand the reason of his action,wiping her tears away he spoke firmly

'Khushi listen to me,us time mujhe sirf tumhari fikar thi, those people needed me,they hadn't anything to do with you and you were not relenting so I had to do that.I still couldnt bear that i had to hurt you that day aur agar tumhe kuch ho jaata toh main aapko kabhi maaf nahi kar paata and mind you agar aise koi situtation aagey kabh arise hui to main dobara aisa hi karunga.(Khushi,listen to me,at that time I only cared about you,those people has nothing to do without you but seeing you not relenting I had to do that,I haven't been able to bare if something would have happened to you and mind you if such a situation arises again I would do the same thing).

Inspite of knowing the reason,she found him unreasonably angry at him,why was he doing this,couldn't he agree to her for once,she did knew his reasons,even at that time when he could have used the call to give her some clues about his whereabouts he has apologized to her,it was only after she asked that he has told her when that dam phone has gotten cut.All the pain he had wnt through didn't let her be quiet rather she retorted back at him.

'Kyun karengey aap dobara aisa,aapne ek baar bhi socha ki agar aapko kuch ho jaata toh to naniji,di ghar pe sabka kya hota aur hum,hum kaise'(Why,why would you do this again,did you for one thought what would happen to Naniji,Di and everyone else and me how would I have).She stopped in between unable to complete her words as he answered back.

'Nahi socha aur naa hi sochunga'.(I didn't and neither I will).

'Kyun nahi sochenge aap'(Why,why would you think about it).Khushi asked him.

'Kyunki baat tumhari hai dammit aur jahan tumhari baat aayegi wahan main har baar aisa karunga,kuch bhi karunga if it means that ur safe and sound'.(Because its you dammit and when it comes to you,I would do it again and everything I can if that means ur safe).

His words has the desired impact as Khushi went silent,for moments they kept staring at each other eyes,their separation has led to the realisation what the other meant to one,the same pain and the longingness and have gone to inexplicable lengths for each other.Not knowing how to answer to what he has uttered to her,Khushi did what she did best,she quickly diverted his attention to where they have left the conversation and told him about how has she gotten back to the warehouse to check on him,her return,her confiding in Mamiji what all has occurred,the threatening call they have got,the stint with that man who had a tattoo,how she had sensed him at tha place they were at,her seeing him taken away by them again.

As once again she broke into heavy sobs,Arnav pulled her into his arms offering his warmth and safety,trying to assured her that it was all over,that he was there with her. Khushi continued to speak narrating the entire happenings her finding about Shyam,the blood test,how Nk came to know about everything and then their tryst with Shyam.She was speaking telling him about the main motive of Shyam behind his kidnapping,how he has transferred the property papers in his name and wanted to kill him.Arnav asked her how have they come to know about all this as knowing Shyam it would have been very difficult to get to the root of this,he felt Khushi going still in his hold and after few seconds getting up moving away from him.

He noticed her standing there drinking water turning her back to him,waiting for her to come back,but nothing happened,she stood there still.Sighing he got up and walked forward stood in front of her.She has her eyes closed

Putting his palm over her cheek,he called out softly 'Khushi'.

Instinctively she leaned to his palm more,savouring the feeling only his touch was able to provide to her,she opened her eyes only for him to find it glistened with unshed tears,not understanding the reason behind them he askes her.

'Khushi,kya hua tum ro kyun rahi ho?'(Khushi,what happened,why are you crying?).

'Nahi kuch bhi to nahi,woh hamare aankh mein kuch chala gaya tha'.(Nothing at all,something got caught in my eye).She said trying her best to keep the anguish out of her voice lest he notice but has she ever been able to hide anything from him.

'Khushi batau mujhe'(Khushi tell me).Catching she is trying to hide,he told her gently yet firmly,she wouldn't be able to refuse him then.

Taking a few deep breaths she managed with difficulty 'humne Shyamji se kaha tha ki hum aapse nafrat karte hai,hum aapko barbad karna chahte hai aur agar who humse pyaar karte hai to unhe Di ko divorce dena hoga'.(I told Shyamji that I hate you,I wanted to see you fall into pieces and if he really loves me he ah to divorce Di).

'Laptop ka password chahiye tha,Nanheji ne unke kamre mein video camera fit kiya tha,lekin who unki awaaz mein tha isliye humein password unhi se bulwana tha kisi tarah'.(We needed the password of laptop,Nanheji has put cameras in his room but it had to be in his voice only and we had to et it recorded somehow).

'What was the password'Arnav asked.

'I love you Khushi'Khushi spoke in such blatant tone as if it was a curse she was uttering.

Seeing the toll it was taking on her Arnav wanted her to stop but she couldn't stop even if she wanted too, her heart was speaking to him today.

'Password record karne ke liye,humne naatak kiya,who yahan the hamare kamre mein aur unhone humein chua tha,us waqt humein aapne aapse ghinn aa rahi thi,us insaan jisse hum is duniya mein sabse zyaada nafrat karte hai usne humein chua,,par humein karna pada Arnavji,uske baad humne unse property aur divorce dono papers pe sign le liye lekin jab hum wahaan aaye the unhone humein dekh liya aur who documentswahin chooth gaye'.(To record the password,I had to act,he has came here in our room,and he touched me,that time I felt tainted,the person I hate the most in this world,he touched me but I had to do this Arnavji.I got the divorce and property signed from him,but he saw me that day and the documents were left there only).

Rage and anger ran through his whole body.Shyam Manohar Jha can count his ending days he promised himself,what all they had gone through because of this one man he would make sure that he doesn't get place in hell even.

'Humein abhi bhi lagta hai ki agar apne us din woh sandesh naa bheja hota,agar humein de ho jaati wahaan aaney mein,aapko kuch ho jaata to'.(Till now,I feel what would have happened if you wouldn't have send that message that day,if I had been late in reaching there,what if something happened to you).

Khushi finally voiced her fears aloud to him,it took moments for him to grasp everything,he saw the fear in her eyes as tears few mercilessly from those beautiful eyes.He held her face in his hands,muttering'Shhh Khushi' continuously and his heart overwhelmed with the emotions,he followed his heart and kissed every inch of her face, trying to remove all the bad memories with his touch.His each caress full of love and affection he felt for the woman who has bared so much for him,taken every threat and fought that evil and has got him back home sound and safe.

He carried her to the bed laying her down softly,her grip on him never losing and as he lulled her to sleep,he sat there staring at her reviberating every word she has uttered today.His respect for her growing by bounds and leaps,she has gone through everything all alone,he didn't noticed how tears made way from his eyes too.He wont let anything harm her now,would keep her happy always with him where she belonged,with that promise his eyes too dropped and he slept holding her close to his heart,their heart beating in unison.
