It will beat the three day figure for sure but opening day could prove to be difficult as North India will struggle to put up Ek Tha Tiger numbers which means you have to clear the Ek Tha Tiger figures in other circuits by clear margins and that is tough as Ek Tha Tiger put up very big numbers outside North as well.

A. Just like critics, the industry liking or not liking does not matter much as no one will say bad about a film before release even if they hated it. As for your ticket price theory its the opposite. A film like Ship Of Thesis may have around 1 lakh or at most 2 lakh people who may watch the film so its best if you get these people coming in at the highest ticket rates. The general film going public has no time for such films so even if you reduce the ticket prices you will still get same amount of viewers but a much lower collection.
