Kusum and Sunny convince Vidyachatur and Guniyal that they have to go look for Saras as the police has now closed the case and meeting Kumud and asking her if Saras has tried to contact her is the last hope for finding him. Guniyal disagrees but Vidyachatur is worried for Saras so he gives them permission to go to meet Kumud. He calls Buddhidhan and asks if Kusum can visit Kumud as she is missing her sister a lot. Buddhidhan tells him not to ask for permission in such matters as they don't need anyone's permission to visit their own daughter. Vidyachatur also tells him that his friend's son will also be coming as he is like a brother to Kumud. Buddhidhan happily accepts the proposal. Sunny and Kusum decide to leave the next day.
Buddhidhan informs everyone in the house about Kusum's arrival. His wife and Alak gets worried. Buddhidhan senses their distress and assures them that Pramad would not be out of control. Saras hears this and is happy to know that Kusum is coming. Buddhidhan calls Kumud and informs her about the same. Kumud gets worried because Saras is living in the same house and if Kusum finds out about this, things might get out of her hand. Saras understands her fear and decides to help her out. After Saras and Kumud leave, Buddhidhan tells them that he completely forgot to mention that Vidyachtur's friend's son will also be coming with Kusum as he is like a brother to Kumud. Everyone gets busy in preparations for their arrival.
At night, Alak, Buddhidhan, and Saras are discussing something about the flood victims. Buddhidhan had been informed that the flood victims are in extremely poor condition. They are homeless and the shelters provided for them are not sufficient. In addition to this, there is no electricity, not enough food, and no proper medical aid. Buddhidhan tells Alak and Saras that he needs to go visit them personally to calm them down or else there are high chances of possible riots as the victims are extremely angry. Alak and Saras get worried and Alak advises her father not to go. Buddhidhan is about to say something when Saras says that he will go. Buddhidhan rejects the idea of him going alone as he is not yet familiar with the place and the people but Saras insists on going and assures them that everything will be fine. Buddhidhan gives in and agrees to let him go.
In the morning, Kumud's mother-in-law is busy preparing for Kusum's arrival. She and Murakhdas are cooking sweets and delicious dishes to welcome Kusum. Kumud is a lot more worried than happy. At the breakfast table, Buddhidhan asks Pramad to go to a party meeting in another village with Alak's husband. Pramad makes a face but agrees to go. Alak and Pramad's mother feel a little better. Kumud doesn't see Saras and asks if his breakfast be sent in his room. Buddhidhan says that he left early in the morning to meet the flood victims and will not be back until the next day. Kumud is shocked. Buddhidhan praises him for his courage to visit the angry victims. He tells them that he was supposed to go meet the victims but Saras insisted to go. Kumud feels relieved and has thankfulness in her eyes for Saras.
Vidyachatur, Guniyal, Dugba, Kumari, and the whole family are in the living room as Sunny and Kusum get ready to leave. Kumari says, "I wish I could come with you! I wanted to see her, too! But anyways, give her my love and tell her that I love her so much and miss her a lot." Kusum says, "I will!" Dugba and Guniyal give two bags full of sweets and gifts for Kumud's in-laws. Dugba tells them to be careful and behave themselves. Kusum assures them that everything will be fine. They leave.
Saras, along with some party members, reaches the place. He sees everyone in a very bad condition. One of the party members takes him to the leader group of the victims. Saras greets them and asks them how they are doing. The main leader comes forward and says angrily, "Can't you see how we are doing? What do you want? Are you here to show how much you care? Are you here to distribute clothes and food? Are you here to pity on us? Well let me tell you, we are in a very bad condition. We have lost our homes, our farms, cows, everything. Our kids are hungry as there is not enough food. People are getting sick because there is no proper medical attention. So I'm going to ask you again, why are you here?" Saras listens to him quietly and says, "I am here to help you. I know things are not easy for you to deal with but we are trying our best to provide you with everything you need. It is just that the damage is so big that we cannot do everything at once. Please. I am here to request you to have patience. Calm down." The man gets angry listening this and says, "Have patience? It is so easy for you to say all this. How can we calm down when the lives of our kids and families are at stack? How can we have patience when we are at the verge of destruction?" Saras says, "I understand but'" And before he can continue the man shouts at him saying, "Shut up! How can someone as rich as you understand our pain? How can you understand what it feels like to live in the mess like this? You have your big houses and big rooms to live in. Just shut up and leave or else'" A big crowd gathers behind him. The party members see this and go stand behind Saras in case something happens. Saras senses the seriousness of the situation and says, "Look, we are here to help!" The man says, "We saw how much you want to help! It's enough!" And before anyone knows, there is a big chaos! The victims were beating the party members, the kids and ladies were running in fear, people were screaming and shouting. The victims started burning the tents and the party vehicles. Saras sees all this and calls the police.
Unfortunately, Kusum and Sunny come to the exact same place where the riots are going on. Kusum gets worried and asks Sunny to make a u-turn and find another route. Sunny is about to change directions and suddenly sees Saras in the crowd. He stops the car. Kusum gets scared and asks Sunny what he is doing. Sunny points to Saras and gets out of the car. Kusum gets out of the car, too and tries to stop Sunny but he doesn't listen and runs towards Saras. Suddenly someone throws a rock and it hits Kusum on the head. She screams! Sunny looks back and sees Kusum wounded and runs to help her. He helps her get up and starts taking her towards the car. A few men circle them, push Kusum on the floor, and start beating Sunny. Kusum screams again. Saras is still fighting and hears Kusum scream and looks at her. He is shocked to see her there in that state. Kusum looks at Sunny and shouts, "Suuny!". She tries to stop those men but they knock her down again. Saras looks at Sunny, pushes the people away from him, and runs to Sunny. He pushes those people away from Sunny! Sunny opens his eyes and sees Saras. He smiles and mumbles, "Saras!" Saras says, "Yes.. Yes.. Saras! I won't let anything happen to you my brother!" He looks back and sees the police car coming! He quickly gets up, grabs Sunny, supports him from the shoulder, goes to Kusum, help her get up and puts them in the back seat of the car. Kusum is wounded but is conscious and lays Sunny's head gently on her shoulder. Saras runs to the police car and tells them to secure the kids and the ladies first. He tells them about the casualties and briefly tells them what happened. The police says, "We will take care of the situation. Don't worry!" Saras gets into the car and quickly drives Sunny and Kusum to the nearest hospital.
At home, Buddhidhan gets the news of the riot and decides to leave immediately. Alak and her mother get worried about Navin. Kumud also gets worried for him. Kumud's mother-in-law says, "You can't go alone." Buddhidhan says, "Don't worry. The police have reached at the scene and the situation is now under control." Kumud can't control herself and says, "Is Navinji okay?" Buddhidhan says, "He is fine. He called the police and once the police arrived, he took two wounded people to the hospital. The inspector said that Navin was wounded, too but he was more worried about those two people. He is such a good man. I need to get there as soon as possible." Alak says, "Since police have everything under control, I am going with you!" And, as always, they give in to her command. They leave. Kumud's mother-in-law inquires about Kusum and Kumud says, "She is on her way. She will reach soon!" Her mother-in-law says, "Okay. I need to go the temple. I will be back soon." She leaves. After everyone leaves, Kumud thinks about Saras and gets worried about him.
Saras takes Sunny and Kusum to the hospital. Sunny is badly beaten and is seriously injured. The doctors take him in immediately. Kusum's head is bleeding and Saras asks a doctor to take care of her. Kusum refuses to go until Sunny get better but Saras firmly tells her to go with the doctor. Saras is extremely worried about Sunny and keeps looking at him from the glass window. He is also worried about Kusum and decides to call Kumud as he can't hide this from her.
Kumud is in her room waiting for Kusum. Her phone rings and its Saras(Navin on the caller ID). She is a bit hesitant but she picks up. He says, "Hello' Kumud!" She gets teary-eyed listening to his voice and loses to her heart. She asks him, "Where are you?" She stops for a moment and asks, "Are you okay?" He smiles a bit hearing this and says, "I am fine. I need to tell you something!" He tells her what happened to Kusum. She is dead shocked and extremely worried. She becomes frantic and starts asking, "Where is she? How is she? Is she injured badly? Is she okay? Which hospital is she in?" Saras tries to calm her down but she bursts out in anger and says, "She is my sister. You tell me where she is right now!" Saras tells her which hospital they are. Kumud runs to Murakhdas and tells him to look after Sid. She quickly informs him about what happened and asks him to tell her mother-in-law that she will call once she gets there. She leaves for the hospital.
She reaches the hospital. She is looking for Saras and Kusum. She looks around and sees Saras. She calls him out and runs towards him. She asks him, "Where is Kusum? Is she okay?" And exactly then Kusum rushes back out of the doctor's room to check on Sunny. Kumud sees her and they both hug. Kumud looks at her wound, kisses her forehead, and says, "Thank God you're okay." She is about to say something when the doctor comes out of Sunny's room. Kusum quickly goes to the doctor and asks him about Sunny. Kumud gets shocked hearing about Sunny. The doctor says, "Sunny is still critical. The wounds are very deep and he has lost a lot of blood. We need to keep him under observation over night. We are trying our best!" Kusum hears this and tears start rolling down her cheeks. Kumud goes to her and consoles her. She asks her about Sunny and what he was doing there. Kusum looks at Saras in anger and says, "He came to find him. He came to find you, Saras bhai." Saras looks down. Kusum continues, "How can you be so careless? Do you always punish the people who love you to the core? Sunny was worried sick about you. He's been looking for you day and night. And you, you just don't care. He has been searching for you ever since you got here on the night of the wedding!" Kumud is shocked to hear this. Saras is startled, too. He asks Kusum, "How do you know about this?" She says, "Sunny came home looking for you. He was shocked to know that you didn't get home on the night of the wedding and told everyone what happened in Dubai between you and Nandu kaka and how you left your house!" Kumud is still processing the information of Saras being here on the night of the wedding. She says, "You were here on the night of the wedding?" She remembers the payal that she found on the floor that night. She also remembers how Saras reached her in-laws house injured and unconscious. Kusum realizes what she just said and is now extremely worried, as she wasn't supposed to tell Kumud anything. Kumud goes to Saras and says, "You did come on the night of the wedding! Where did you go? Murakhdas said Alak brought you home wounded. How did you get hurt? What happened to you? Did you meet with an accident?" Saras is speechless! Kumud looks at Kusum and asks about what happened in Dubai. She asks Saras, "Why did you leave your house? What happened between you and Nandu kaka?" Kusum is surprised to hear all this! She asks Kumud, "He was hurt? He was at your in-laws' house? Didi what are you talking about?" Kumud stares at Saras, then looks at Kusum, and asks her, "You tell me the whole truth!" Kusum doesn't understand what's going on but tells Kumud the whole truth; how Ghuman planned the misunderstanding, about Saraswati kaki's letter, how Nandu kaka slapped him, how he broke every relation with his father and left the house. Kumud is shattered after hearing all this. She is heartbroken. She looks at Saras but he is walking away from them. Kumud has tears in her eyes and she follows him.
Kusum is worried about what she just did. She thinks about what Dugba had said about not telling anything to Kumud. Suddenly she looks inside the glass window and sees Sunny lying unconscious. She forgets about Kumud for a moment and remembers how Sunny had come to her rescue when she was injured. She opens the door and goes inside. She is slowly walking towards Sunny remembering all the masti he used to do with everyone. She remembers his smiling face and playful nature. She remembers his words, "Tum aaogi na?" She goes to him, looks at his face, and holds his hand gently. She closes her eyes and quietly mumbles, "Please be okay." And cries!
Outside the hospital, Saras is thinking about his past and how he has hurt the people who love him the most! He has tears in his eyes. Kumud gets there. She calls out to him. He turns around and Kumud just runs into his arms. Kumud hugs him tight and starts crying. She says, "Please forgive me. I punished you, taunted you, and constantly hurt you without giving you the chance to explain. You kept trying to talk to me but I didn't listen to you. I am so sorry!" Saras thinks about her words when he had called her to cancel the wedding, he thinks about Sunny's condition, he thinks about what happened in Dubai and just breaks down in Kumud's arms. He lets his pain come out through his tears. He cries his heart out and Kumud, too lets all the sorrows and pain flow out of her heart and lets him cry.
