Hey all here I am with the update and author's note please don't ignore it thinking I have same notes in all FF as they are different.
Before you all read I wanted to wish you all HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY
also wanted to thank Yashi and Arpita for such a lovely comment 🤗 and too all my LONG COMMENT givers. Love you all 😃

Part 19

Taani's heart beat stopped for a second. She saw the gun in Shaka's hand which was pointing on her forehead was now pointing at Rey. Soon she saw blood coming out from Rey's shoulder. She screamed "REY" and tried to run to him but Shaka's grip on her arm was too strong. Shaka was shocked he so wanted to shoot straight in Rey's heart but due to taani's constant movement the aim didn't go well. He looked at Rey who was still paused at his place. Soon Rey fell on his knees and then his face touched the ground. He lied lifelessly on the floor and here Taani lost her senses too. She could see her nightmare coming true. She stood there like a statue after seeing her Prince Charming got shot in front of her eyes and she couldn't do a thing. Shaka pulled her and took her with him. She was following his trail aimlessly and like a puppet. She had nothing left. Her Rey was left there to die in the middle of jungle and with wild animals. She didn't want to live but right now she didn't even had strength to kill herself. She was shattered completely from inside out.
~Scene Shifts~
Swayam reaches the place where taarey slept at the night. He was walking and his eyes fell on blood. He follows the blood and finds some more clues. From the surrounding and clues he could tell that taarey were together and rested here only. He was so happy he couldn't believe it. He looked at the direction where the clues were pointed and excitedly says to the people in the group "this way. Rey and taani went this way. Lets go get them back. He says this with a big smile on his face and starts walking excitedly.
'Dude no listen to me. Trust me I know what I am doing' a thought made swayam stop on his trail.
Flashback starts
"Dude no listen to me. Trust me I know what I am doing" Rey says trying to convince his best friend cum his gf's brother cum his would be Saala (Brother-in-Law). Yeah it was the day when Rey was finally and officially proposing Taani. The plan was to mislead taani to buy some time so by the time she reaches the terrace Rey is ready with everything. As it was an open place they needed 20 mins beforehand to set up everything and the setting can't stay same for long due to wind. So as soon as taani reaches the hotel they have to misguide her for 20 mins till she reaches the correct place which is the terrace of hotel.
"No you are not getting me" swayam tried to argue back as he was not ok with misguiding plan of Rey's. Well in reality when it comes to his sister nothing is perfect. He always wants 'The Best' for her which he only can get her. Poor Rey was tired of convincing him so irritatedly he says "dude you are questioning ACP Reyaansh Singhania who leaves no trail and whose plans always works."
"Woah dude chill itna gussa woh b mujh par apney best friend par" swayam said trying to calm him down as no matter if he doesn't admits it he is scared of his anger too.
Tring Tring Rey's phone starts ringing before he could reply to swayam. "Darn she is here. Now no more discussions do as I say as I did at your time" Rey said indicating about swaron proposal time and leaves the place to pick taani's call. Swayam left a sigh and did accordingly and to his surprise taani reached the terrace at the exact time the stuff were setted. Rey smirked at him showing that he was right and swayam rolled his eyes signaling whatever.
Flashback overs
"This is the wrong way" swayam declared and all looked at him in shock. "But sir..." Swayam interrupted the leader of the team and says "I know Rey he will not leave a trail back for his enemies to get him. It's a trap to fool them. I know him. We are going in opposite direction and those who doesn't wanna come with me it's ok. I don't damn care." He walks and others silently follows him as they already lost taani and they can't afford to loose swayam too as they had to answer their authorities. They walk for hours team wanted to rest but swayam didn't so after fooling them all he succeeded in going ahead while others rest.
He had a torch in one hand to guide him way in the dark scary night. He tripped at some thing he puts his torch a bit down n sees a body. He takes many steps away from it scared to death. He somehow manages to check the face and luckily it wasn't Rey. He felt happy for a sec but soon his happiness was turned into worry as now he knows there was a fight took place and he was worried for Rey's well being. He looks at each and every body and his heart beat stops seeing a wrist watch. A watch familiar to him. It was Rey's favorite watch he wears it all the time as it was first gift taani gifted him. Swayam's body was froze he didnt move an inch after a long time he moved and turned the body around and to his bad luck or say good luck as he could do something for him, it was Rey. Rey was lying lifelessly he puts Rey's head on his lap and tries to see if he is alive or ... He couldn't even think about that. He was struggling to wake him up when he saw the hole on his shoulder. He didnt know what to do. He started searching around in each and every pocket of dead goons and finally found a knife. He lights a fire and heats the knife tip up and with trembling hands tries to take off the bullet. Finally he was succeeded, he cleaned the wound and now it was time to wait that's all he could do. Helplessly he sat and kept Rey's head in his lap and waited for something good to happen.
It was morning now birds were chirping and animals were making sounds showing their presence. Rey moved a bit and slowly slowly opened his eyes. He felt a killing pain in his shoulder he looked at it and remembered what happened to him and Taani . As soon as he thinks about taani he jerks up and "Ouch" he screamed as the pain increased due to his sudden movement but he didnt care about his wound. He tried standing up but he was too weak and couldn't bear the pain. "Woah wait dude wait don't push yourself take it easy" Rey hears a familiar voice. He looks around but finds no one. "No use of looking right and left look up and down maybe you will be able to find me then" again a familiar sound reached Rey's ears and he looked up and find Swayam sitting on a branch of tree, smiling and waving at him. Swayam had two thick sticks with one side of it sharped. "Swayam what the hell are you doing up there? Rey asked totally confused. "Well I am keeping an eye on both human and animal forms of enemies" swayam smirked looked at right and left and slowly jumped down from the tree. He came and hugged Rey as tightly as possible. "Dude if you wanted.. to ki... kill me than why you saved me?" Rey managed to say while chocking in swayam's grip. "Shut up. Please no more talks of dying. I was scared to death when I saw you in that state" swayam broke the heard while saying it with teary eyes. Rey looked at those sticks and gave him a questioning look. "Well I made it with that stupid knife (signaling at the sharp tip) to kill no I mean to save you and me from enemies" swayam said feeling proud of himself. "Dude you remind me of old age" Rey chuckled and swayam made a disappointing face.
They both hugged each other again and started walking. "Hmmm now I have found you it's time to look for taani" swayam says scared thinking that Rey will panic when he finds out that taani is in jungle and moreover she is lost and alone. But Rey didnt panicked at all and said "yeah as soon as possible". Swayam was stunned at Rey didnt reacted at all the way he expected. "Dude taani is here in jungle all alone and you didn't reacted at all after knowing this?" Swayam asks with a surprised expression coming in front of Rey. Rey sighed and decided to tell him the truth "taani was with me. She found me and helped me get away from those goons. We were together till Shaka found us and I fought with his people and before I could get him he shot me. And he took my taani with him." Tears started rolling down from Rey's eyes remembering the scream of hers when he got shot. He looked at shock swayam and continued "I can still hear her scream when she saw me getting shot & falling on the floor".
Swayam stepped back clutched his hairs in frustration and started saying "it's all my fault. I should have listen to her. Her heart was saying that you were in that direction but I didn't listen. She listened to her heart and found you. I wish I had listened to her and I would have found you and we all would have been out of this mess it's all my fault. Only m..." Seeing swayam like this Rey tries to calm him down and cuts him off and says "swayam it wasn't your fault trust me it wasn't". But swayam wasn't ready to listen and says "I was thinking she was alone and feeling guilty but now she is with Shaka. Ugh what if Shaka did something to her? What if he hurt her? What if ..." Rey interrupted swayam held his face tightly to make him see directly in his eyes and says " say anything you want but don't say like this about taani. As long as I am alive no one can harm my taani. Got it? There was a chance for shaka to live but after what he had to taani i will make sure his death is the most horrible one ever. He will beg for his death but i will not mercy him. He will have to die a painful death. Now lets go we have to find taani as soon as possible" Saying this Rey walks ahead and swayam follows him silently. They walk for hours and finally they saw Taani's stole's small piece. They were exhausted and Rey's body was giving up on him but seeing taani's stole's piece they all got charged up with courage and hope to find taani soon.
