Part 14
He couldn't understand what happened and how and when? He looks at the huge rodded gate and then the name plate that clearly states "Shikhawat Mension". Yup he was standing in front of his home. Home where he was born, where he laughed, cried, got everything, lost everything, which he left several years ago. He could see the basket ball court through that gate where he, his dad and Sharon used to play and knowingly his dad would make Sharon win and he always hated that. He could visualize those days and the times he would stamp his foot in frustration when Sharon would win cause of his dad and he would loose. Tears started rolling down when he remembered all that. He walks up to the gate and sees old watchman who was surprised to see swayam here. The watchman quickly opens the door and swayam walks in. He didnt wanted to ever come back here but now he couldn't go back his heart wasn't allowing him to go back.
He walked in the house to find his kaka (servant) standing there with a big smile. Swayam guessed that he was informed by the watchman. He took his kaka's blessing as for swayam he was never a servant. Swayam looks around as if he was looking for something. "Beta malkin so rahi hai kaho toh utha doon?" Kaka asked swayam but he nodes in 'No'. Looking at his condition kaka guessed that he drove all the way here and must be tired and hungry. "Beta ap mu haath dho lo. Mei khana garam kar daita hoon jab tak" saying this kaka goes in kitchen.
Instead of going in his bedroom swayam went straight to his mom's bedroom. He walked in slowly so that she doesn't wake up cause of him. She was sleeping peacefully but still there was something on her face tension maybe swayam couldn't help but notice it. He sat on the floor by her feet, touched it and kissed it too. He was craving to touch her feet all these long years but his anger, hurt and fear couldn't let him come back. He silently cried entire night and didnt even eat or slept. The sun rays fell on his face then he realized that he fell asleep crying. He rubbed his eyes and opens them to find his head on his mom's lap. He saw her face it has a big smile on it. Her eyes had tears of happiness in them. He smiled back and wiped her tears away and says "mom I love you and I missed you but now I am here so no more crying please". Swayam made a cute face and his mom couldn't help but smile and hug him tightly. It was a comforting and soothing hug. Both were happy in each other embrace swayam was feeling motherly love and his mom was feeling a satisfaction of being a mother which she craved since years. She breaks the hug and says "did you eat anything last night? My son must be hungry let me cook your favorite breakfast". She walks out of the room smiling and excitedly and swayam also freshens up with a smiling face. The mother-son ate together happily and talked about the business.
~Scene Shifts~
It was a bright and sunny sunday morning. As usual one person had nothing to do. So he as his routine and best time pass drives up to a house and goes in whistling. "Sharon Sharon" he yelled for her but no reply. "Oh I see my sleeping beauty is still sleeping" he smirked and walked in her room. She was sleeping peacefully and was smiling as if she was dreaming. "Oh really so madam is smiling and all" he said and took a glass of water and threw it on her. She jerked up from the bed all shocked and drenched in water. She see her BFF, Sameer, standing looking handsome as always and laughing at her while holding his stomach. "YOU" she yelled at him and ran after him. They kept running until Sharon got him finally and beat him with pillows. "Uff stop now sorry baba will not do it again" Sam, (Sameer) pleaded. "Okay if you say so" Sharon said with attitude and left to get ready. He took a breath of relief and after sometime she came out, they had breakfast and left. Sharon sits in her favorite car while Sam sits in his bike. "Hey where you going?" Sharon asked. "Nowhere who do I have?" Sam said in most dramatic way. "Shut up dude and as usual come with me" Sharon said with a smirk.
"Lets see who wins" Sam says while giving a kick to his bike. "Is there anything to even see" the Diva replied with full on attitude while pressing her accelerator making a roaring sound of the car. He smirked at her and give her a thumbs up while she begins with a thumbs up and ends it with thumbs down. Sam's jaw drops and now she was smirking. She presses the accelerator again and asks "ready Sam to loose of course". "Yup ready to win" he says and winks at her and she gave him glare and counts to three with her fingers and the race begins.
Both the car and bike started talking with wind. They as usual chose empty roads so no one gets in trouble and get hurt. A minute Sharon would be ahead and another minute Sam was ahead. It kept going like that until finally Sharon speeds up and stops her car first by the main gate with a screeching sound. "Yippee I won I won as usual yaay" Sharon came out of her car all excited and jumping while Sam stopped his bike right in front of her with a sullen face. "Awe don't be sad may be in next... ummm birth" she says and winks at him. He frowned and Sharon sits back in her car, the gate opens and she enters in "The Shikhawat Mension". They stopped in front of the door at the porch. They comes out and they both walk in unknown with the fact that someone was looking at them all this time. Yup swayam was standing in his terrace looking at Sharon winning the race, jumping in excitement and showing attitude like she used to in their childhood. He thought 'nothing changed she was the diva, childish, a happy go lucky girl and she still is the same Sharon, my best friend'. He smiled remembering the old times and the view he just saw and goes inside the house. He was still smiling but soon his smile vanished remembering their last meet. He punched the wall remembering the way he treated her and always blamed her for everything. He was scared that he will loose his best friend cause of this and she will never forgive him.
He slowly walks down and hears Sharon yelling at someone or should I say talking to someone in a loud and angry tone. "BM don't talk to me. How dare you stepped in kitchen when I ordered you not to get off even from your bed?" Sharon said folding her hands on her chest. Swayam looked at the direction she was seeing and found his mom and that new boy who came in with her standing. His mom had a sad face and that boy was trying to control his smirk. "Woh mei.." BM tries to say but Sharon cuts her off and says "there is no reason that will force you to come out of your bed. Doctor have asked you to take rest completely and you ..." "What?" this time it was Swayam who cut her off. Sharon turned around and was shocked to see swayam standing in front of her. Sam was confused to see an unknown person in the house and was shocked as that person interrupted The Diva. Swayam's mom was now scared as before it was only Sharon but now swayam as well. She has to face two people's anger now. "Doctor? Rest? What? Why? What happened? When?" Swayam was totally confused but more he was worried for his mom. "Woh ummm actually (now Sharon was struggling with words. She has faced swayam's anger before she was scared and swayam and Sam noticed that) act.. actually BM got sick couple of weeks ago and now doctor has asked her to take complete bed rest." Swayam could see her fear completely so he decides not to say anything to her and he walks up to his mom and makes her go in her room and lay down in her bed and says "am I such a stranger that you couldn't call me and inform me about your health? (swayam holds his mom's hand and kisses it with teary eyes. He was feeling guilty as he wasn't here for his mom.) I am such a fool and such a bad son that I never enquired about you and your health. I was living in a world away from you when I know my world is you mom and only you. I am sorry mom. I have proven myself a bad son but give me one chance I wanna change myself for good, for you mom,for you". By now swayam was sobbing, swayam's mom was crying too and Sharon and Sam had tears in their eyes as well. "I will forgive you at only one condition" swayam's mom said and without wasting a single second swayam replies "anything mom anything". She smiles at his son and his care and willingness to do anything for her (his mom) and says "promise me you will never leave me again and will listen to me from now on". He kisses her hands, forehead and cheeks and says "I promise mom I promise from now on I am yours and only yours mom. Will do anything and everything you say. Will never question you and will fulfill all your wishes I promise." Both son and mother hugs each other again and cries for sometime in order to never cry again.
